Instead, afterward, Pelosi resorts to sexist remarks to try and save face, and Schumer thinks repeating "Trumps Shutdown" is going to get some traction outside of the non-indoctrinated left.

The public got to see that NDP leadership doesn't think protecting the safety of citizens is worth $5 billion.

Friday night, Democrats shut down the government over deadlines that didn’t exist. Their games jeopardized health insurance for 9 million children and hurt our troops. They refused to reopen the government until Monday afternoon.

Last time he negotiated with Schumer behind closed doors Schumer blew up the negotiations because Trump called **** hole countries **** hole countries. Then the Democrats expounded on the reasons people should qualify for asylum because they come from **** hole countries. Either they are **** hole countries or they aren't which would negate the reasons for requesting asylum. Everyone seems to agree that they are **** hole countries except one person had the guts to call **** hole countries **** hole countries. Schumer used the opportunity to get some face time doing what he does best, melodrama. He didn't want to negotiate. Trump trumped him this time. I noticed Him and Pelosi asked a few times if they could do this in private. What have they to hide? Trump didn't give UpChuck Schumer a chance to do what he usually does. It was strategic. I thought it was a brilliant move.
