Christine Blasey Ford Makes a Shameful Public Appearance...on Behalf of Sports Illustrated

What an OUTRAGE

"Lawyer and former gymnast Rachael Denhollander has been selected as Sports Illustrated's Inspiration of the Year.

Denhollander was the first woman to publicly accuse former Michigan State and USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar of sexual assault...................."

It is quite a shame Sports Illustrated chose Ford, who has been thoroughly discredited, to give this award. Their choice diminishes Denhollander's experience and the experiences of the other sexual assault victims.

The woman who made a bogus claim against a honorable man and tried to ruin his life gets pick to present this award? WHY?

 

A GREAT choice.

Besides, Larry Nassar was a Respectful Monk compared to an OVERGROWN FRAT BOY SERIAL RAPIST (like Kavanaugh).

Ms. Ford was a Great choice.

 

Because she made a bogus accusation, amazing what makes a great choice for you. Who did Kavanaugh rape?

 

We disagree about a great deal, but on this I'm 100% with you.

To place Ford alongside young women who were genuine, proven victims is absolutely disgraceful.

 

I will give the RW credit for one thing.

They can always find a new excuse (just like the way the RW Fever Swamp is hammering this Ford story) for their mock sanctimony and faux outrage.

 

We see eye to eye on a lot, but this was a huge misstep, and an insult to actual survivors.

 

I remember sometime in the distant past when Sports Illustrated actually covered sports.

Just to keep the narrative going. Ford couldn't produce much in the way of fact when this circus started; it didn't matter then... it doesn't matter now.

They didn't have to use Ford to highlight this issue, there's plenty of other options, but it was surely intentional.

 

In a way, I do feel bad for this woman. "Helpless dupe" is the perfect term to describe her, and she willingly(and foolishly) ruined her life, meanwhile Kavanaugh still sits on the highest court.

Being used for anyone's agenda, is a sign of weakness and given what we know about her past she probably was one for such a role.

Would you want to live a life where you're seen as "that woman". The one who made a complete and utter fool of herself in front of the world and debased our US Senate? Yeah, I wouldn't either.

 

Roughly half of our nation follows politics. And inside that group half of them believe her.

Maybe she and Stormy can do a speaking tour with Bill and Hillary.

 

At the risk of participating in an act of dragging this all to the forefront again, please remember that Dr. Ford was regarded as a very sympathetic witness by most of the senators. In fact, Trump himself called her a 'fine woman'. Most said they believed she had been the victim of rape - but they didn't believe that it was BK who committed it.

Placing her alongside young women who were victims is not such a stretch. And, perhaps, Denhollander was honored to receive it from Ford.

 

I feel sorry for the gymnist who deserved the award but is over shadowed by this attempt to again wrongfully and fallaciously smear an honorable man.
