Was curious what you guys thought? Trump seems concerned about China, but why have we not heard him comment on anything to do with Israel developing a very strong tech relationship with China, in a speech Prime minister netanyahu gave the other month in Jerusalem, he said that Israel and China are 'both determined to seize the future' in a very powerful interview... what do you guys think of this? ->

It's always about trade with China and money with Israel.
China is shopping for influence and control.

I don't think it's anything like ceding Syria to Iran and Russia, but it kind of takes away a base from the US while at the same time giving China better access to Israel's high tech market in exchange for low cost Chinese goods.
China is kind of passive aggressive. :)

You can bet China is cultivating relations with Israel to get or steal all the high tech they can get from Israel. They know the brilliant minds of the Israelis and Jews. China has big plans.

You have to admire China if for no other reason than they are in it for the long run. They are kind of like the "blob". They will make a deal, a big investment, pay it off with what we would call long term trade. Pretty soon they will have paid it off with Israel's money. No private US company would make that commitment because they couldn't organize all the trading partners in the US. If we are going to stop them we need some kind of statergery as Bush used to say.
Your absolutely right on the tech stuff. Israel makes the best. Not a lot, but really good stuff.

As the U.S. continues to lose ground internationally, look for China, Iran, and Russia to cut deals and pick up the slack. Especially look for China's long term commitment in Mexico, South and Central America. When the U.S. exited from TTP, China formed its own long term Asian partnership treaties aimed at closing the U.S. out.

Yeah, I don't understand it. China seems willing to lower tariffs on most stuff if it gets them more trade.
But your right, they are just reaching out everywhere. Meanwhile we are backing away.
I was looking the other day about China's investment in Brazil. People here are running around saying China blinked, when within a couple years they won't need any US soybeans.
