Nowhere but in the fairy tale world of conservatives does a wall have the same meaning as a fence. Must be tough to do mental gymnastic to twist the meaning of words in the defense of Trumpfoolery.

BS. Each of the three last presidents, two Dems and one Rep, all allocated public monies/added to the existing barrier.

Trumps No. 1 campaign promise was to build a wall that MEXICO WAS GOING TO PAY FOR.

WTF happened to that?

Veteran homelessness is still a thing.

Childhood poverty is still a thing.

Poisoned drinking water in Flynt, MI is still a thing.

Crumbling infrastructure is still a thing.

AND ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IS AT ITS LOWEST POINT IN 50 YEARS.

Trump could earn my grudging respect by addressing issues that really matter to the average American. Not some showboat "wall" that people can, and will, simply walk around. The French tried the same thing against Nazi Germany. It failed.

The wall (and the larger issue of curtailing illegal immigration) has been an issue to the average American for decades.

The establishment didn't want to take care of it.

So an outsider was elected.

 

Did the dope and other contraband come here legally and just overstay their visa?

 

Building codes only apply to normal people.

It keeps people squallblling about nonsense while he's robbing the country blind, along with his criminal associates. Putin loves it, America will never recover it's place ot respect in the world.

 

Fine. Both parties have reasons for not making illegal immigration a hot button issue.

But I ask you: Has an illegal alien ever took a job that you, yourself, were entitled to simply because you were born on one side of an imaginary, man-made, line on a map?

And, that "outsider", (read: carnival barker), swore to the American people that not one dime would be spent on the wall.

I'd say that the Dems took him at his word, and when his word turned to *****, they said "no". Good on them.

You want to stop illegal immigration permanently? Make it a felony, and a ten year federal prison sentence to hire an illegal. Problem solved. But, it turns out your own orange leader isn't above hiring those same illegals to wash the sheets in his hotels.

Ive had to scrape up the mess left by illegals both in the field, and now in the hospital/clinic for nearly 2 decades.

When friends visit from out of state I take them to, and point out the illegal areas and the harm thats done.

Most have no idea, and the media sure isn't showing it.

 

You don't just pop a security guard house in front of a home in the Kalorama district of DC without a ton of variances.

 

In my experience, the left is very comfortable with this now.

 

Say you. The contractors who built that house are bound to the building codes.

 

Building codes don't dictate where or where you can or cannot place a guard house.
