I’d like to wish everyone a happy new year but I don’t want to offend the Chinese. To everyone who doesn’t give a hoot, Happy New Year.
Even though I could strangle some posters sometimes I wish everyone was as passionate and cared about politics and policies as the members here. Here’s to a prosperous and healthy New Years to everyone
Maybe your New Years resolution should be to be more inclusive and thoughtful about everybody and not just the Chinese. How "un-politically correct" of you, young man... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosh_Hashanah Official name ראש השנה Also called Jewish New Year Observed by Jews
I had an early night - actually earlier than usual, to escape the insanity. I find it quite amusing to see the looks on the faces (of those who don't know me better) when they wish me HNY, and they're expecting the ritual response 'And the same to you.' when I just say 'Thank you.' lol
Only that it's a pointless gesture, because que sera sera? And even then, I don't see why it needs to be renewed every 12 months.
I'm sure I'm one of those posters you wish you could strangle lol. Happy New years to everyone and heres to the same.
New Year at work.....again. Don't need the extra alcohol anyway. Hopefully everyone else had a good one.
The real new year begins more like on the 25-th of December, when we celebate the "rebirth of the Sun". Because, you know, withouth the Sun we are toast, I mean ice cubs. The January 1-st is more like "the tax revenew ministry" new year when all acounting books shoulb be put in action. HNY, Mr. Cerberus, although I think in general it won't be that happy. We could finally see the liquid manure hitting the fan. Is this the "doomsday clock"?
Thank you. lol That's the kind of thing I think about: I wish that I didn't, but some people are cursed with a forensic imagination and I'm unfortunate enough to be one of them, when I'd much rather be one of the vegetables except that I have more self-respect by not being one of them.
