Well, you were demonstrably wrong, and I just proved it. Continue stomping your feet if you like, but reality doesn't change.

The US doesn't have a balanced budget and supports current expenditures through deficit spending. That's why you think of them as a cash cow for single payer.

Please explain why that would be a better deal rather than outsourcing their most expensive healthcare populations to the federal government, which finances their care through deficit spending.

If you can actually show that, then please do. You've failed thus far.

So the federal government will pay all of Medicaid? Currently in California they pay less that half. That is a lot of money

I'd say equal care for a fraction of the cost. Once we had universal care we could simply lobby and vote for published prices and higher copays to turn the system capitalist and save even more money. Do you understand?

Is a child that dies minutes after birth or within the first 24 hrs, 48hrs or 72hrs, uniformly recorded as live birth in the vital statistics records across europe and the rest of the world?
    The US?

Today, we still have a free market in that every company can design products that meet minimum criteria set by regulation. Prices are easy to find for comparison. People may choose the product they want, if they can afford it.

Every one of the regulations we have was designed as an attempt to solve the FACT that corporations attempt to maximize profit, NOT serve all those who need the services.

In other words, we HAD a totally free market. And, that FAILED. So, now (like with cars, water, air, food) we have added regulation in an attempt to get corporations to do things that are absolutely needed, but that they can't choose to do on their own, because of competitive pressures.

What you need to know is something about history.

I'm just suggesting you need to be careful with the argument you wanted to make - but didn't.

    You failed to answer again.
    It's a simple question.
    Why the trepidation?

Businesses in America would love to be freed from the current bureaucratic burden of administering the multiplicity of healthcare plans imposed upon them by the State.

It diverts their resources from their capitalistic endeavors, and the Rube Goldberg system of their subsidizing their employees as the State subsidizes them for doing so is absurd.

Opposing the common sense, pragmatic approach under which all advanced nations have arrived at the superior paradigm and provide coverage to all at around half the cost are the parasitic middle men who gorge themselves on the inefficiencies, the privileged who cling to their second-hand subsidies as entitlements, and the hardcore ideologues for which the proven approach is anathema to their dogma.

Those incorrigible factions strive mightily to perpetuate what is, by far, the most costly system on earth that fails to cover tens of millions whose unpaid, bloated medical expenses are routinely dumped on the taxpayer.

I just gave you a warning concerning a possible overreach on an argument you were alluding to.
