Its only ridiculous hyperbole because you dont want to hear it. If I claimed to be suffering, youd eat it up with a spoon

So true......I guess lazy people LIKE the economy going into the toilet as long as it's not their economy and they don't have to do any work...:)

Wrong. I would feel empathy towards you, and hope that this ridiculous un needed shut down would end soon so that you and your family dont overly suffer for the whims of psycopath.

But hey, thanks for telling me ahead of time how I am supposed to feel eh? Glad you know me so well.

Every one of those was under a democrat.

    1996--Clinton was in office.
    1978--Carter was in office.
    2013--Obama was in office.
    1977--Carter was in office.
    1979--Carter was in office.

Thank you for posting a graphic that makes my point, which I will quote (with emphasis added):

Wrong. The essential personnel aren't getting paid either (and they are having to work, but will eventually be paid). The non-essential personnel aren't getting paid (and aren't working) but will eventually be paid. The essential personnel are facing delayed pay (delayed until the shutdown ends), and they have to work, and won't be paid any more than the non-essential personnel who will also get a delayed paycheck.

All of DoD is being paid. Only part of the government was shut down. DoD has it's funding until the end of October.

Yup, the government shutdown is a big waste of money. Taxpayers aren't getting services, and will end up paying for them as if they got them.

And a fully explained need for that bill to address the border crisis and fund the wall, which would reopen government on the spot- if the dems (who have all been in favor of the wall in the past, before Trump asked for it) were not so adamant as to insist that absolutely nothing that would give Trump credit shall pass......

    And that is the impass.

We don’t need a wall. It’s a useless waste of tax payer money. We need actual border security and immigration reform.

Mandatory e verify for every single employer and employee in the US. If any employer is caught employing an illegal, mandatory 10 year prison sentence and $250,000 fine for every illegal employed. Deport every illegal that is doscovered.

    That’s the reform

Border security? Drones and more personnel.

How many decades have we heard e-verify. Not gonna happen.

    Who opposes a border wall?
