    Its not just Mexicans...

Border rancher: 'We’ve found prayer rugs out here. It’s unreal'

LORDSBURG, N.M. — Ranchers and farmers near the U.S.-Mexico border have been finding prayer rugs on their properties in recent months, according to one rancher who asked to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation by cartels who move the individuals.

The mats are pieces of carpet that those of the Muslim faith kneel on as they worship.

"There’s a lot of people coming in not just from Mexico," the rancher said. "People, the general public, just don’t get the terrorist threats of that. That’s what’s really scary. You don’t know what’s coming across. We’ve found prayer rugs out here. It’s unreal. It’s not just Mexican nationals that are coming across."

It is a few otql and unessary hardship whixchnisnnownat the hands of hateful Pelosi and Schumer. Two people that hate the elected President so much they would withhold such a smal amount and f money in in the overall scheme of things.

Please start protestingn them via phone messages they don't care about unpaid workers, only winning.

Why would sneaky invading Muslims leave their prayer rugs behind? What are they going to pray on next time?

Interesting how some are unfazed by proof that illegal Muslims are sneaking into our country. If Dems thought any of these unwelcome criminals would support Republicans theyd insist on a wall. Instead they welcome those who vow to kill us. Soon there will be more than a shutdown on Dems hand... there will be more innocent American blood.

You own it, Dems. Youre giving isis new hope.

When they break down your door to murder your family, you can ask about their prayer rugs. Obviously youre concerned.

Paid day off #11 for me. Petty Pelosi pleas for the president to postpone SOTU speech. Sounds like shes scared of how great economic news will make her party look even worse.

No end in sight. Thx Dems... still enjoying my paid time off. :)

Why does nobody ever question why we pay taxes for non-essential things? If we don't NEED it, we don't need it. I don't care about the government's "wants."

When a family is hurting for money, they budget and plan. They cut out the waste. They start eliminating the things they don't need (one could call these things "non-essential,") and focus on the real needs.

Let's do that with government, until we get our spending under control.

    Mkay?

And what would be the first things you cut? My guess is that its the moist vulnerable and weak among us that take the hits first. Thats usually the GOP plan.

A fully fledge e-verify COULD happen. Its just a matter of will. But no one actually WANTS to hold employers accountable because thats "bad for buisness".

But its truely the only real viable solution. Hold employers accountable, and harshly punish those who violate.

    Well, I'm not GOP.

I heard a shutdown sob story. How about we shut down the part of government that has to approve the label designs on craft beer? Let's start there. I'm sure we can find a whole boatload of "services," the government provides, that are nothing but bureaucratic paperwork that provide little to no value to the American people.

What does non-essential mean to you? It certainly doesn't mean that the country will explode without them.

Very 1990's. Didnt work then, wont work now. Makes more sense to stop the flow of illegals at the border. But that makes too much sense for Dems to go along.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree. If you dont give them a reason to come here.... They will stop coming here. We just simply have to actually hold businesses accountable. Why shouldnt a buisness be held accountable for hiring illegals?

Thru property taxes... I support the entire Dallas Independent School District. Thru payroll taxes, I support the elderly on Medicare.

    How many do you support?

I sort of agree. If our govt didnt provide social services to illegals, fewer would come here. I have less disdain for workers than free loaders. We've got enough slackers among our own citizens without welcoming more.

Whether for a wall or against, for border security or against, a wall being an integral part of security, it isn't an issue of racism, but of sovereignty. All races who are citizens should be concerned. They have been tricked, misled, and lied to about border security. Unfortunately, it's difficult for many to separate themselves from their personal lives.

On a 1954 miles border, how many personnel would need to be employed to capture folks crossing the border illegally, not just monitor them?

No idea. But we need drones to patrols and personnel to respond when someone is found crossing.

So now you won't be doing any of the above. You have answered my question and I understand that you have no mouths to feed.
You might have a different view if you had children and responsibility.
I do not have children as they have their own families to support. I am also not working for the government and am not affected by the shutdown---yet.
