Not true. There was wire tapping and a mole put in the campaign. Obama should be indicted for it.

You know it it's true. You know it's a fact otherwise you wouldn't be denying it so much.

Then allow me to expand your understanding of the possibilities.

If Mueller had evidence of the order and went to Cohen and asked whether Trump issued that order, it is entirely possible that Mueller sought to understand whether Cohen was telling them the truth when he said he would cooperate with their investigation.

Denying it so much? You consider one denial "so much?"

How is Trump's dozen or so "I have no dealings with Russia" working out for your cognitive dissonance then?

You said if I did what Bill did I would have gone to prison. So.. If you did what Trump has done on several occasions, would you go to prison as well? If this story turns out to be true, what are we arguing about? I don't refuse anything. I told you I did not understand or follow politics at that time. You are the one claiming you did and you still are being a hypocrite. If Bill really did something wrong he should have been impeached. Bottom line. Are you gong to "Keep The Same Energy or not?

Or he needed confirmation because it wasn't clear. But as you highlighted Cohen is a convicted liar, and in desperation not to go to prison...he'll say just about anything to help himself. I don't really blame him...but clearly can't be reliable.

    You are getting there!

That is correct in that there is another possibility. But that possibility is not the only one mentioned in the article. Indeed, neither possibility for why Mueller might have gone to Cohen to seek a confirmation/denial of the order is mentioned by the article.

The lie that Cohen plead guilty to was to cover up the Trump Tower Moscow deal. Trump knew about the testimony and likewise knew it was a lie, yet kept quiet. Now Cohen didn't lie to protect himself, he protected Trump. And now it appears he did so at Trump's request.

He is hoping for a great sentence from Mueller, and a potential reduction for the 3 years he already got....not to mention protecting his father-in-law....the guy is an admitted liar, and he is all Mueller and the Dems got....

He knew he was going to testify...but he had no crystal ball to know what questions were going to be asked. Cohen was protecting himself...he and he alone had more convos about the potential deal, because he was going to still be working at Trump Organization when Trump moved into the Oval Office.

Yep...whatever Mueller wanted him to say Cohen was happy to say it.

Let me know when you can be fair minded and call out the democrats and their hypocrisy.
    Thanks.

In what way did lying about the negotiations protect Cohen?

See my post way back at #83 on Buzzfeed and documentation and outcomes if this is false...

    Find that lease agreement yet?

And for the record, I think Cohen does have the evidence, and Mueller had it before he went to Cohen.

    JMPO. No evidence of such.

You wanna hear the funny part about this entire story? Moscow Project? I don't think it would have mattered to a single voter if in spring 2016, Trump had come on TV and said (essentially) "Yes, the Trump Organization is still pursuing a Trump Tower Moscow during my campaign, under the leadership of my kiddies and my lawyer. I will have little to do with it unless I'm not elected President, in which case, I will retain leadership of the Trump Organization (which I will never truly relinquish anyway).. If elected, I will fully divest myself from control of the Trump Organization (Ha Ha) and the project, if it happens, can go forward."

As others have made the case, I wouldn't expect a candidate to stop all outside endeavors while campaigning for president or any office, as time allows...

Would you have really had a problem with that? Assuming it was a "simple real estate deal", I wouldn't have and I know few of his voters would have. Which sort of makes the case that none of this was a "simple real estate deal"

So only half the two are well-documented partisan liars and plagiarists. Guess that means the unnamed sources are reliable because a bucket with half a hole in it still holds water, right?

There are two instances of Leopold writing inaccurate stories, which hardly meets the criteria of being a "well-documented" liar and plagarist, and they happened in 2002 (17 years ago) and 2006 (13 years ago). Since then, he's been a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, won an Emmy, won an investigative reporting award, and has been routinely commended for his work with FOIA documents. His work, accolades, and awards far outweigh only two instances of bad reporting.

If the sources were Jesus Christ and Gandhi, you trumpers would discredit them with bs. “these dirty clowns in the underwear are longstanding liars and violent extremists! One of them was in favor of overthrowing the government and the other was such a liberal kook that he had to be executed!”

Why do you guys keep forgetting the documented lies about the 104 contacts with the Russian government, he numerous indictments and convictions among Bonespurs’ inner circle and the acceleration of reports of his wrong-doings? Why can’t you recall him being implicated in felonies with respect to campaign finance laws?

Considering the amount of lies you tell here, I would refrain from call out others, "Councillor". :)
