I hope Nancy doesn't get that concurrent resolution anywhere near the shredder..... Ooopps....... BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

    Her bad!

For all my Prog friends on here... Just finished the LONGEST article in the history of the Internet, but it's a helluva read...

Can't start a thread, since it's mostly an opinion piece, but it's the best case I've seen in writing to begin warranted impeachment hearings ASAP and not wait for the Mueller report... I hope all members of Congress would find the time to peruse, and I suspect many will.....

    Warning again.... LONG article

Trump is refusing to negotiate, dems will deal if Trump gets serious and offers them something like DACA

Trump has made offers and counter offeres and held the negotiating sessions and is there waiting for the Democrats counter offer, where is it. And he is more than willing to talk DACA. The fact is the government could be open in 15 minutes if the Democrats would be willing to negotiate and compromise but all they have said is NO. He offered Pelosi everything she wanted if she would except some measly border security funding. She said absolutely NOT, she wants everything in her bill and Trump gets nothing.

Trump lost his leverage with DACA the last time he was trying to move the goal posts and the courts deemed it constitutional. By the time it gets thru the courts he will be long gone.

Ya... No. You need to gey out more and get your news from sunrise other then Fox if you think that. All the anti-Trump protests going on makes it quite clear thisw getting the blame.

"I'll be happy to shutdown the government." Trump

Don't know why you think I'm in Congress. Its the Democrats who need to start negotiating not me.

I did.....try listening to some leftist Pundits, CNBC, and Mike Allen of Axios. The longer it goes. Favors Trump.....its not a real difficult concept knowing he has the bigger platform with a bully pulpit.

To bad the House passed a bill for the funding of the Wall. That you Senate Democrats stopped McConnell from bringing the bill to the Floor.

Once that happened. Demos own the shutdown. As usual Trump tricked them again.

I've just got hold of this CNN story dated... yesterday morning...

Pelosi plays by her own rules and strikes out Trump

(CNN)On Wednesday morning, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi introduced President Donald Trump, and her expanded Democratic caucus, to the big leagues.

    http://www.cnn.com/2019/01/17/opinions/pelosi-trump-showdown-state-of-the-union-psaki/index.html

How's it playing out for Pelosi so far? :nana:

Pretty fair... each has taken 1 swing... Trump won't get to do the SOTU in the House Chamber and Pelosi doesn't have to go to Afghanistan... I'd give the score on a 10 point boxing scale 7 Pelosi/3 Trump after 1 round...

After yesterday, Trump will play his card smartly, I'm sure of that. I would not put it past him to hold his own SOTU in the country's largest stadium, filled with his supporters who will give him standing ovation and applaud enthusiastically, while the mortician Nancy speaks to the deadly silent house :)

I don't think we have any idea where this is going yet. My thought? Nancy' gonna be sorry she sent this letter. If Trump plays this right which I'm sure he will.

No House bill (that has passed) has had wall funding and that includes the old Repub House.

And in the Senate, Sen. McConnell alone controls the agenda.

This crap is what I'm talking about. You're parroting outright lies and thinking you have point.

Blinky's sorry, alright - she just got her ass completely pwned in front of the entire county. She probably wishes she could hide in Afghanistan for a week.

Sadly, I think the fun and games are over. :( The SOTU and shutdown will continue as scheduled....

    Come out of that bubble.

Senate Advances House Spending Bill with Wall Funding ...

    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2018/12/21/senate-advances...
The Senate advanced the House-passed spending bill that contains $5.7 billion in wall funding on Friday. The Senate passed a motion to proceed on the House-passed continuing resolution (CR), 48-47, that includes $5.7 billion in border wall funding, which will put the spending bill to a full floor vote soon.

GOP senator: End the filibuster to pass Trump's wall money

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/gop-senator-end-the...
House just passed a bill that fully funds government and enables @realDonaldTrump to secure our border/build the wall. Senate can do same by eliminating the filibuster. 51 votes, same as we do for …

Now tell us how the Demos stopped McConnell from bringing it to the floor. Here is a clue.....there is only one way for the Demos to stop McConnell from taking it to the floor.
