BTW, this basically nullifies the Buzzfeed report. If one thing is wrong, you cannot trust any of it.

There are quite a lot of details that the Special Counsel might individually dispute. This is why BuzzFeed is urging the Special Counsel to clarify what he's disputing. What the Special Counsel's statement is not is a denial of the entirety of what was reported.

This is the kind of thing lawyers are trained to do, to parse language and word statements with precision to avoid misunderstandings and such. I'm not a lawyer myself, yet even I understand that much.

Doesn't deny that Trump suborned perjury. In fact it is deliberatly vague but certainly doesn't deny that Trump ordered Cohen to lie which it certainly could have if the fundamental accusation was known to be false. Mueller is just letting Trump swing from the rope for a bit longer.

 

What a spin job! Try as you might though, it's been debunked.

It doesn't say "elements," but it does list elements. I even bolded them the last time I quoted the statement.

The Mueller team pointed out that it is in error. Only the brain dead still believe an erroneous report.

 

the only reason for meuller to make the statement that its 'inaccurate' is he knew the house dems were about to use it to go forward with impeachment, he had no choice but to put the kabosh on it because he knows there's no proof of any involvement with trump... if there was, he'd have handed them the 'report' on his investigation, but he's got squat on trump and stomped on pelosi's parade...
