Doesn't take much reason to raise taxes. The gov is the biggest enabler of the worst drug>tobacco.

Salt is dangerous too but there is too much of it to tax. It's easy to make bootleg salt.

over the years they've condemned almost everything as cancerous, cried wolf far too many times for me to care about their bs whims...

that said, just about everytime there is a 'fight' over budget, some crazy crap comes out & taxed, coincidence... not

Heck, they even tax taxes. I'm a smoker. The price I am charged for a pre taxed product is added into the state sales tax. I am glad they don't do this with gasoline.

Oops, maybe I shouldn't have said that. A taxman may be reading this.

the oldest person to have ever lived was a smoker, when non-smokers take that title they can brag about it

now sugar and other processed carbs.... those are way more risky then cigarettes when abused

in fact our high carbs\low fat American diet is causing so many issues, the Trump admin wants too do this

"Trump Official Says Diabetes a Preexisting Condition Not Worthy of Coverage"

oh please!!! stop context twisting. mulvaney never spoke out against diabetes, he specifically spoke out against people whom refuse to listen to reason and conscientiously, deliberately ignore everything being told to them, and sit around on their arses, eating & drinking all those 'bad' things and never exercise other than walkin to the fridge for more sugary crapola to toss down their throats, then they expect society to pay for their medical expenses... this is the context of mulvaney's comments and you lefties know it, yet decide to twist it to further your agenda against america... shameful on you all...

    Hmm.

I've been smoking for many decades. I love/hate smoking.

I will say one thing good about smoking. It relieves anxiety.

Have you ever noticed that outside of a herion treatment center that all of the addicts are smoking up a storm.

I took a friend to a human resource place a while ago. It's for poor mentally disabled people. I was outside smoking and gave away a half pack of cigs to the people there. :worry::worry:

the 'blend' of added sugars when burned, give a similar effect as herion, ergo addictive. it's allowed because the 'sugars' are food quality & not regulated, so they refuse to ban them from using it... silly isn't it... people actually think we live in a great country, its akin to the battered wife staying with her hubby...
