Actually that would be the "fence" that was funded by both parties in 2006.

You understand that's the reason the polls were so skewed in the 16 campaign? The MSM did their best to shame people and embarrass them for their beliefs, they didn't want to make it public. Either that, or you're admitting the pollsters flat our LIED and completely made all those numbers up, which doesn't help your case. So which is it? All these "news" organizations used manufactured polls to LIE to the American people night after night or people simply told the pollsters one thing and did another. If you think its more believable that all those polls LIED and then all of the MSM LIED as well...whew boy that just flies in the face of everything you believe in doesn't it=)

So, how do you explain the polls that came out in the days before the election that were essentially spot on?

Trump isn’t backing down because his solid 35% will walk away from him if he backs down.

    Politico is far left.

But I don’t know about their poll; it may be credible.

It is a real shame that Trump did not learn the lesson from 2018: Trump's base is not enough.

It’s enough to keep him from being impeached (convicted) by the senate.

It’s not enough to win in 2020.

Trump outperformed his polling by an average of about 1% during the entirety of the 2016 primary and general election. And that is well within the margin of error for every poll, but if it makes you feel better, you can walk around and claim that there is roughly 1% of people who consistently will vote for Trump, but refuse to answer any polling data.

Agreed. That is about 25% of the reason behind Trump's insistence on the wall. The other 75% is because he wants to build a monument to himself.

The polls were never skewed in 2016. Trump lost the national vote by 2.2% and the average of the polls had him losing by 3.3%.

If you want to tout a "skew" of 1%, then feel free.

    Cool story.

Ask the lawyers in your family if there is a logical flaw associated with analogizing 250 miles of steel slats along a 2000 mile border to the walls/door lock around a personal home.

The "best part" is an opinion added by your right wing news website.

But yea...a wall is "one of many solutions." Strong talking point for you. Run with that one.

He doesn't need to bump heads with the House. He could just say he will fund it himself first to keep his gullible base from walking away.

Did they fail to mention that there is no such thing as a"very good analogy?'

The Poll is fake news cause in 2016 we were all told there was NO WAY Trump could WIN!

Excellent example of where your logic fails... Trump is not conducting business by "temper tantrum" nor is he creating an edifice for his aggrandizement.. The secret to successful attorney argument is to keep up with the same inane statements until your opponent just get's sick of it and quits.. you did not win an argument.. you just frustrated sane and reasonable people.
