I don't think this thread is lame. Racism has been assigned to republicans at every turn; and democrats are portrayed as the benevolent, inclusive, loving and caring party. It is good that they are now being called out as a the phonies that they are.
Besides, this must be a significant story because CNN went to the trouble of placing blame for the racist acts on republicans when Northam is a Democrat. That was no mistake. It is proof that the left-leaning MSM is willing to lie and manipulate the masses if the version of the story doesn't match the version they are hyping which is that republicans are full of hatred while democrats value diversity and inclusiveness.
I do wish all sides of the MSM would start calling out the racism, hatred and violence of non-whites. Surely there are video tapes of non-whites being racist but those stories never see the light of day. One would swear that the MSM concocted and is pushing the only-whites-can-be-racist narrative down our throats.

The story of applying a small amount of shoe-polish to his face as part of a Michael Jackson imitation contest in the 1980s beggars belief. It might well be true, but one wonders why anyone would think it necessary to blacken his face at the very time Michael Jackson was deliberately whitening his own. We are now fully into the theater of the absurd.

Democrats can't win a national election without whipping up racial hate to motivate the minority vote. How in the world are they going to sustain this with an obvious bigot at the head of a major Blue State?

 

I think dems want him out not because of the pictures, but because he is forcing the party to defend the infanticide they want.

We need to be surrounded by folks that fight way harder. But, the way it has been, is guys can run losing campaigns and still be easily hired to run campaigns in the next election cycle. If we want winners, losing has to mean the end of your career as a campaign manager. Where are our Lee Atwater's of today?

 

Republicans need to find political consultants with at least a lick of sense.
They paid the firm over $1 million, and they clearly did not do any background research on the opponent.

Say what you want about George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Robert E. Lee, and Stonewall Jackson. They were a century or two ahead of Virginia Governor Ralph “Coonman” Northam.

Sure Washington, Jefferson, Lee, and Jackson owned slaves, as was the practice in Virginia during their times. And yes, Lee and Jackson were key military leaders for the Confederacy. But as far as we know, none of the four ever mocked blacks.

 

He does seem to be the best of the declared candidates so far..
