Could Abortion Radicalism Cost Democrats the 2020 Election?

Topic is not about Trump or Bill Clintons blowjobs. It's about a man who changed directions three times in one weekend. Remember Northam's famous words "too much black shoe polish is hard to get off your face"

His position on infanticide is even more disturbing.

Democrats' Inexorable Abortion Logic Has Finally Caught Up With Them

so, the guy looks like a racist but won't step down. I wonder if it has anything to do with his Lt. Governor. Even If not, I can't stop wondering why a Doctor would want to be a one term politician. He was either a crappy doctor power crazy or both.

Its not a criminal or impeachable offense so it shouldn't be treated as such. You can't speak for the voter in assuming the voter would be outraged. That's what liberals and elitists do.

Personally I think the typical voter would rationally believe that the picture doesn't make the man a racist. The typical voter is pragmatic and rational.

Maybe his Lt governor's sexual assault allegations will help him get out of the news cycle.

He shouldn't resign because of that picture. He should resign because of the precedent his people set.

This guy is dense. He would have moonwalked in that press conference if his wife wouldn't have stopped him. How does a clown like that end up Gov of a major swing state?

Abortion could be a big issue in 2020.

New York, Governor Andrew Cuomo signed a bill that allows for babies to be aborted up until the moment of birth. The signing of this bill was celebrated with landmarks such as One World Trade Center being lit up in pink.

In Virginia, Democrat Kathy Tran of the Virginia House of Delegates proposed her own bill that would allow for abortion up until the moment of birth, and Governor Ralph Northam (who’s also got other problems now) enthusiastically admitted that the bill being considered would essentially allow for the killing of babies after they're born.

America may be a country that supports abortion rights, but for years polls have said that a sizable majority of Americans, even Democrats, believe in reasonable restrictions on abortion—restrictions today’s Democrat Party simply don’t believe in. Gone are the days of “safe, legal and rare.” Democrats today oppose anything that might restrict the ability of — or change the mind of — a woman (or child) having an abortion.

75 percent of Americans believe abortion should be restricted to the first trimester, the standard most of Europe observes. Fewer than one-third of Americans believe abortion should be legal under any circumstance.

Today, Democrat activists are so far to the left that they fight tooth and nail to protect Planned Parenthood’s federal funding, despite their black market trafficking in baby body parts. They want women to proudly “shout your abortion” — as if having an abortion is an achievement worthy of a blue ribbon and a cash prize.

That could be a real issue in 2020.

    Why would he resign?

The media will stop covering this by the end of the week, and everyone will forget.

Hes a Democrat, who cares? We've seen them drop the N bomb on live television and be given a pass. You think this would make the dude resign?

Too much power in that position to just walk away from.

He's a Democrat and used to collaborating media with soft questions and rosey coverage...so the guy is discombobulated for sure.

At the time of the rape (that he denies) he was working as "a body man" for VP nominee, John Edwards.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: A great deal of why Trump won was the backlash against the holier-and-smarter-than-thou attitudes of celebrities and the media, and this just confirms it. I don't even LIKE Trump but this was one of two things he discussed during the campaign that he was absolutely correct about - the Fake News Media. And they ARE Fake News - the second they decided they were going to put their narrative first to make their facts conform to it, rather than find the facts and let the narrative arrive on it's own. And when WaPo admits they spiked the story while at the same time running with others simply based on who they liked and who they didn't - well, it's a wonder these geniuses still can't figure out why few trust the media anymore.

This brings up something I myself have tried to do for awhile now - sure, I will slip up now and again, but I've tried to look at the news story itself and let the source remain unimportant. Yeah, I'll usually slip when it comes to the NYT because that one was funny and all, but - This is as opposed to some mental midgets who laugh off a story just because of where it comes from, while overlooking the fact that a bunch of bloggers caught Dan Rather lying, and the National Enquirer caught Rush Limbaugh on his drug use. Sometimes, the oddest sources do get the scoop - whether left or right. And it was a right-leaning source that caught the story that a left-leaning WaPo confirmed because it had to. So, y'know - those on the left that complain that a source is biased, I ask you to do what I've been trying to do - consider the story first because the right DID get it right and there's no denying that at all.

Kind of a shame that a former poster here who did nothing but run articles off of WaPo for years and was very likely a paid shill for that paper - and you PF veterans know who I'm talking about - isn't here to see this. It sure would have been a hoot to read her spin on this.

Forget "Virginia is for Lovers". Virginia is for Schadenfreude.

All weekend we laughed at the discomfiture of the Lefties who convinced themselves they were "standing up to hate" only to find they were standing up for this:

Now, we get to watch them choke on how they treated Brett Kavanaugh as Governor Coonman's heir apparent stands accused of sexual assault.

Today is going to be soooooo much fun watching these sanctimonious frauds squeal like stuck pigs...:D

One of the the things I took away from Governor Coonman's surreal and disastrous press conference on Saturday is that his wife is the brains behind their operation. One of the many reasons why I voted for Ed Gillespie is because Coonman was never the sharpest knife in the drawer and the photo that surfaced only reinforced the impression that he's a blundering dumbass. I suspect that Mrs. Coonman decided that she's wasn't going to let that idiot throw all her hard work and sacrifice away and she is the driving force behind his decision to remain governor. In many respects, they remind me of the Clintons, although Ralph Northam isn't anywhere near as clever as Slick Willy.
