Public optimism in their personal economy has hit a 16-year high under President Trump, according to a new survey.

Some 69 percent told Gallup that they expect their personal finances to be even better next year, just shy of the record 71 percent when the internet boom was raging under former President Bill Clinton.

What’s more, the survey company said that 50 percent elieve they are "better off” than just a year ago when the current economic surge was kicking in and when the White House coined the phrase “MAGAnomics.”

Yet another indicator of the booming economy. More Americans working, Americans making more, and Americans more confident about the future.

Obama didn't build that, but Trump did.

This is the type of progress that particularly infuriates the socialist left/democrats.

I heard an interesting conversation lately. The guy sayd; "let me explain it to you in NASCAR terms so maybe you'll understand". A driver gets in his car and spends several hours turning left and switches drivers just before the finish of the race because of exhaustion. With one lap to go the new driver crosses the finish line first and just as trump does claims "I won"!!!

Even the NYT has tried to warn DP troops that they are cruising for another bruising in 2020, but do they listen? ;-)

"In Real World where ordinary Americans live the crippled Obama/Bush economy came to an end when Trump took office and started to keeping campaign promises. We are enjoying the Trump Boom. Even the NYT gets it.

"With neither a recession nor a major war to run against, Democrats sought instead to cast the election in starkly moral terms. Yet by Election Day, the charge that Mr. Trump is morally or intellectually unfit for office had been made so often that it had lost most of its former edge among swing voters."
THE NEW YORK TIMES, How Trump Won Re-election in 2020, A sneak peek at the Times’s news analysis from Nov. 4, 2020., By Bret Stephens, July 26, 2018.

Its going to be interesting watching dems try to use the morally unfit label while they defend the blackface and antisemetism of top dems.

One theory I heard is that dems know they lose in 2020, Pelosi is cool with it as long as she maintains the speakership, and she's grooming her nephew-Ca governor Newsom as the candidate of choice in 2024.

Another Trump win in 2020 will result in the loss of many anti-Trump DP seats in Congress. It will also result in the loss of many anti-Trump RP seats.
The House, so far, looks like a crap shoot.

Here's the conversation I heard. The guy said; 'let me explain it to you in NASCAR terms so maybe you'll understand.' This is the new economy car race, all those jobs cars ahead of us aren't coming back letting us catch up and it will take a magic wand to win this race.

We must give the Trumpsters their unfailing energy to find ways to make Trump popular with Americans.

    Two facts remain:

    - Trump will leave the White House and the country will be in economic crisis.

    - 60% of Americans are dissatisfied with his work.

Yep - Dims need to step in and "fix" all this prosperity and optimism with some socialism. Some of their presidential candidates are already running on it:

Yeah, and it doesn't help when racist Democratic hypocrites and frauds get caught running around in their bed linens and blackface at night...

...and with Governor Punxsutawney Coonman burrowing into his bunker in the Governor's Mansion and refusing to resign he'll be around to remind everyone of the Democrats' moral and intellectual superiority during the 2020 elections...

Whomever you were eavesdropping on was an idiot, although it's cute that a brainwashed liberal tried making up a NASCAR analogy.

Here's a more accurate NASCAR-based analogy: A driver spends several hours trying to figure out how to put on his seatbelt. Frustrated, the team owners replace him with a new driver who pulls off a fabulous come-from-behind victory. The first driver, being a sore loser, throws a temper tantrum on pit row, calls the other driver a racist, and claims the other driver never would have won if he hadn't warmed up the seat for him.

Let me explain it to you in car terms so you'll understand. A guy buys a used, lousy, slow, sluggish Toyota Corolla, puts in a Ferrari engine, modifies the rest of the car accordingly and turns it into a rocket.

The former owner of the Corolla takes credit for the car being a rocket.

If you're short sighted enough to believe that Trump will be re elected because the economy is still good two years from now, you're probably going to be disappointed.

The longest economic expansion in US history is about to come to a close, hastened in part by Trump's debt exploding tax bill and his trade wars.

There is no such thing as MAGAnomics, as the Trump Administration clearly has no articulated economic policy.

And, to date, Trump has only one legislative accomplishment, the aforementioned tax cut, which was actually Steve Mnuchin (working for and on behalf of Wall Street) and Mitch McConnell doing his level best while both of them tried to keep Trump from screwing it up the way he screwed up ACA repeal not once, but twice!

Of course the facts and the economic statistics have nothing to do with your analogy, since you can't actually point to an actual Trump economic policy except big tax cuts for large corporation and bankers.

He hasn't done anything else (his vaunted "deregulation" is largely held up in court), and he was President for a year before he did anything at all.

but no economic metrics or trends have changed since trump took office. It's been the same trend since 2010.

He just celebrated the 400 year anniversary of the arrival of the first African "indentured servants" in VA. Can he dig himself any deeper?
    His wife should gag him.
