https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/worl...t-baby/ar-BBTtgaH?li=AAgfYrC&ocid=mailsignout I was quite amused when reading this story, our political parties won't return the donations a Hong Kong businessman made, but won't allow him back (cancelled permanent residency). What are your thoughts on this? I certainly credit him for the remark of a big baby, that is what we are. Always looking towards the US for what we can do and what we can't. Reg.
Isn't this one considered to be intelligence from another nation??? Perhaps people should find out the relevent information before derogatory posting about their own nation to support people from other nations. But hey, who am I to point out that people should find out the facts not just listen to their own internal bias...
Not really, It is just that one has to wonder when people hang their opinion on what media and bias groups have to say, regardless of belief... I do wonder though, nothing on why this person has his visa cancelled, just a slur on Australia from a foreign person who had questionable credentials in an attempt to undermine the government of the day. Who needs foreign intervention into elections when you have people in your own nation who want to hang of the words of other nations and nationalities. Sounds Trump’esk to me. If it suites my agenda, screw it, demean your neighbours and friends with anti-Australian sentiment.
It is. No refunds. Paying lobbyists/ donating to political parties doesn't guarantee your result. Pretty typical response from a Chinese briber- " I didn't get my way. The long noses are being mean to me and disrespecting China!"
Well, I wouldn't want to accept money from someone I don't get along with or from someone whom I regard as dangerous/not on the same page. Only whores do so, but hey, they have to make a living... Reg.
