Exactly, you will do everything possible. Will violate humans in any way possible, waste all the time and money that you possibly can, and all of it over a misdemeanor. The only justification and motivation you can possibly have is race. And you will still fail.
If I were to bet it would be on the President. The Supreme Court will probably and so far has always agreed. I would also bet that it won't take years. Maybe a few months. Interesting article that fairly debates the situation: https://www.nationalreview.com/2019/02/trump-border-wall-emergency-declaration-legal-likely-upheld/
I hope you're right and that this case will get fast-tracked. I'd like to see it take only a few weeks max. As for myself, the courts have become too arbitrary for me to wage a bet, which is sad and disturbing in my mind.
I don't recall any predictions regarding your Great Pumpkin and his lickspittles in 2016. If you believe that unpopular moves accrue to his greater glory, you are free to entertain yourself with such a fancy, of course.
Trump's embezzling funds allocated by Congress that was assigned the power of the purse by the Constitution is the latest attack upon conservative values by the RINOs of Trumpery. Will the displaced conservatives in the the Trumped GOP surrender?
Congress owns not a cent of funds. Those funds, rightly belongs to the American People. Congress just has the power to tax and regulate. Likewise, the National Emergency Act gave the executive the ability to move funds where it's needed to respond to an emergency. https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/10/2808 This law particularly might be the one properly chosen for Trump's border building.
51,000+ people cross our border illegally ever MONTH and the Democrats reduce beds to detain them, they are overwhelming our ability for social services and that's not a national emergency? You may get that through the 9th circus, but not the SCOTUS.
This is a bit like House of Cards season 3. Francis Underwood takes over the presidency after he secretly engineers the president's resignation as vice-president. However he comes in very unpopular to finish out 2 more years of the term and wants to get re-elected. He is desperate to push something people can rally for and comes up with America works which will pay companies to hire the unemployed and eliminate unemployment. But Congress won't pass it and he is running out of time. He declares a state of emergency and diverts several billion in unused FEMA relief funds to sign up the Washinton DC unemployed up for the program on the white house lawn. The program was starting to gain some support, but then a hurricane is coming, and Congress will only sign a bill that will fund FEMA if he ends the program using FEMA funds. He fights signing the bill but eventually ends his program by signing it when it looks like the hurricane is coming. The next day, the hurricane diverts course and he learns its not going to hit the US.
As far as I am concerned, President Trump is one of the first Presidents since Reagan and Clinton to make good on their Campaign promises. And the first to accomplish so much to grow the economy reduce regulatory burdens on small businesses, grow jobs for low skilled and high skilled workers.AND. he xoulsd have done much more to improve more areas of the FederaL Government if the Liberal Democrats supported legislation they supported under Obama. They hate him so much they refused to compromise and caused the shutdown to continue far too long. I would agree that both Republicans under House leader Paul Ryan needed to accomplish more n the first two years of the Trump Presidency. In fa ct I think he did a terrible job. It then you get Pelosi, a hateful woman who does nothing but bash the President and make sure nothing important gets done in these next two years. I think he should use funds in other Homeland Security and "pentagon" accounts to subsidize the building of a barrier where Border Control says it is needed. CNN commentators and MSNBC commentators, call this a Fake Emergency. They say the majority of Taxpayers(oops Citizens, oops, people living in the Country); don't want a barrier where border patrol has identifies it is needed. I don't believe it. I also don't believe the President is doing it for his his in vanity. Those that voted for him did so because he would buck the status quo Government who for years promised to reform the tax system, immigration, the health insurance system, the court systems ( the U.S Criminal system is totally messed up). At least Trump has tried to get Congress to address these issues, but the members are to concerned with reflection and raising money. It is an emergency at the border. Too many individuals and families attempting to enter and overloading our current procedures. When a system is so taxed, it is difficult to do a though job, one that provides a fast and humane process for those seeking to enter, one that reduces the cost to taxpayers, Anyway, Congress and then Departmentsmof the Federal Government waste far more than the President was asking for. The FBI, DOJ Customs and Border Patrol; confiscate bank accounts and assets in the billions of dollars each year. So why not allocate these funds to protecting our borders and citizens.
I understand You’re not a lib Wink, nod But real libs have no better friend than you when it comes to defending their honor
I dont know the percentage and neither do you But able bodied women to count and should be working If a lazy man and a lazy woman want to live off the taxpayer they have a child out of wedlock All the welfare goes to the mother and the boyfriend stays for free
Keeping illegals out of the country is a good use of the money Much better than letting them in where we have far greater expense
That's not backed up by anything, and even if it was, it still wouldn't be worth the human cost. I know you want a holocaust so that the guy raking leaves matches your skin color, but that doesn't seem worth it to me.
No. It. Isn't. I know you have to believe he's a magical god, but he can't manufacture a crisis out of thin air. Although he tries.
Respect for the law is vital for the maintenance of a free and civil society Allowing millions of foreigners to break our laws is intolerable
