Wait, will you share with us the right to education?

Where do you locate it as a right?

Rights are not forced onto you. At least not my definition of a right.

Great. Then you aren't saying that one person has the right to demand another person provide him healthcare. Thanks for clarifying.

47 percent of all Americans do not fund costs to run the Government in DC. So now who do you get to pay? i will say this much though. The Feds allow millions to escape paying taxes that support operations in DC. They pay for their own later in life social programs but lack the support of things such as payroll for government workers.

Also given it is the very very wealthy paying most of the costs for the Federal operations, unless you are one of the very wealthy why to you include yourself as paying for my public education or health?

More accurately if you actually pay the Feds taxes, chances are they do not cover your own SS or medicare and others pick up your tab for you.

Claiming one example proves the behavior of an entire class is just not how science works.

That kind of analysis gets deleted immediately. And, it could earn the analyst a career change if he's more than an unpaid intern.

Anyone who took any high school science should know that one example hand picked from a class doesn't mean squat.

Did you take any science in high school?

More interestingly, did you attend the school you posted as a good example?

Either you keep meaning to reply to someone else or you’re seeing things that aren’t there. Either way it seems you need help.

Yeah, but FACTS like that don't fit the right's narrative. That's why we have those alt-right friendly "alternative facts". And of course there's always King TangFace's new 100% fact free "facts"!

Why the hell do you believe a good debate argument includes you attacking a poster?

No, I never attended De La Salle. It is a private school so i disclosed it. There is no secret it was my sole example. I never said it was multiple examples.

It was not about science either. Yes when I attended high school, I loaded up on science courses and got top grades. I also loaded up in college too on science plus math courses.

even more important is that for the last 62 years out of high school, my study has constantly included more science. i even brush up on calculus from time to time.

That is total BS. Every private school teacher will tell you he would never work in the public school system again because of the lack of parental support and the behavior of the kids. The schools my sons went to never had a teacher transfer and had stacks of public school teachers waiting for a chance for a job. Private school teachers teach. Public school teachers spend a good deal of their time trying to control bad actors.

As for kids that get kicked out it is a much smaller number than public schools. They don't let you fall through the cracks. If you don't tow the line, your parents are brought in right away. The parents have skin in the game. If you are kicking out 20K for an education, you have different attitude when the ad min tells you what little Tommy needs to correct. I could go on line any time and see exactly how my kids were doing. Grades, attitude, demerits, academic improvement suggestions were there for me 24/7. If you are not making grades, you get a 9th hour with a tutor. If you don't do your homework, you earn a ninth hour. Five demerits get you a ninth hour. You needed a B average to play sports. You took a class to determine where your aptitudes laid and counseling to tell you what you would earn and what classes would prepare you for your fields of aptitude. You got two strikes for drugs or alcohol, strike two and you are gone. Other than that you had to really work to be tossed.

The school is as good as the student. But the student is a good as the parents.

I'm just saying that an analysis isn't science if it simply selects one out of a large class and then assumes it is representative.

Education is not a right. If it was a right a person would have a choice to go or not.Public education is an obligation on the attendee.

What are you talking about? Public schools cannot kick out poor performing students. Private schools can and they do....I can’t tell you how many problem kids we got in my public school when the Catholic schools kicked them out. Public schools have the same privilege. We can kick out kids in the top honors classes if they aren’t performing and then we could say over 87% if thise left go in to college.

A person does have the choice to go .... Or not . It's called home schooling . You don't even have to do that .

    And it's called ... Unschooling .

Well scotus disagrees. They say every child in America has the right to a free and appropriate education in about a dozen different decisions
