Meanwhile, only one of the signatories on Israel's declaration of Independence was from the Levant. The rest were from Europe or other distant locations.

The Ankara Documents further outline Stern's offer to help the Nazis fight the British in Palestine:

"Stern also proposed recruiting some 40,000 Jews from occupied Europe to invade Palestine with German support to oust the British. On 11 January 1941, Vice Admiral Ralf von der Marwitz, the German Naval attaché in Turkey, filed a report (the “Ankara document”) conveying an offer by Lehi to “actively take part in the war on Germany’s side” in return for German support for “the establishment of the historic Jewish state on a national and totalitarian basis, bound by a treaty with the German Reich.”" (2)


I don't believe you'll find that same level of desire to co operate with Germany's National Socialists among Palestine's Islamic community as you will among the Zionists.

Why do you think the british inluded it prior to 1948 if nobody used it?

As for the school, that's easy. They tought hebrew to those arriving from europe who either spoke the language from their old countries or spoke yiddish. The native didn't need the school to learn hebrew since they already used it as proven by the british having to include it on banknote and stamp.

Also give the babylonian exode a rest. There's a lot of jewish history after that event to justify their presence in the region, more so than there is for modern day palestinians.

The palestinians are done for anyway. Egypt is pretty much fed up with them. They're being used by the iranians and hezbollah, but they'll end up losing the few land that they have if they ever try anything serious and no one will come to rescue them.
