Now Bernie and so many other democrats are running for president. The DNC needs a tune to support all their candidates. I would suggest-----------------"Send in the clowns". Bernie and all the others that are running are a joke. Isnt there one normal democrat that can run?

Trump is a joke, was in 2016 and is now. It might do you some good to figure out the difference between socialism and democratic socialism before you try scaring people with the “s” word. Bernie is an independent btw, sp he’s nothing like Hillary.

Anything or anyone connected with socialism is to be avoided at all cost. Look at Venezuela.

Mr. Never worked a job in his life before getting into public service as a politician and now owns three houses and amassed wealth while telling us how corrupt capitalism is while benefiting by holding a position that advocates free **** to lame pathetic people just like he was.

    Got it.

The end game is the same. Wealth redistribution.

Can we stop pretending there is a difference simply because a new term was created?

Wealth re-distribution happens every day. For instance when taxes are changed that is redistribution (see recent tax cuts). When profits and prices increase, but wages do not that is also redistribution (see minimum wage).
I think we should find a more precise term because redistribution can move either way.

At lease Sanders had someone put on some makeup and comb his hair before he announced.

Bernie didn't get as many votes as Hillary did in the democratic primaries. It's funny that somehow he is going to get the independents to vote for him.

Hillary would have won the primaries without the superdelegates.

Bernie is a sellout. He got screwed by Hillary and the DNC and he just took up the wazoo with a big smile on his face.

To be clear, you are saying that universal healthcare, high taxes on the rich, strong regulations, and a strong welfare net (all things advocated by Bernie) are socialism, and that countries with those things are socialist?

Sanders is too old to be considered a serious candidate. He's 77 now and will be pushing 80 come next inauguration day.

    That's too damn old.

Biden is only a year younger so count him out, too.

Tax cuts are never redistribution. Allowing people to keep more of the fruits of their labor is not redistributing anything.

Prices, costs, and wages are all market driven.

Sorry, no you cant redistribute wealth back down to where it never existed. Dividing anything by zero is always zero.

High taxes on the rich doesn't work. Less regulations work better. Removing lobbyists would work. Stopping congress from accepting donations from corporations and making lawmakers and regulatory commissions their shills would help. Changing laws to stop the new monopolies and break them up would help.

If we want to help the poor and infirm, we need to do it ourselves. Corporations just raise the cost of goods and services to make up for the taxes they pay. Then, they file their taxes and get breaks. It would be more efficient to stop taxing businesses and only tax individual incomes. It would be better to pay for all of it straight up. Why give them our money and then have them right it off and pay less than we would have if we did it ourselves?

This won't make sense to some of you. That's okay.

He would be older when taking office than Reagan was when he left office.

Bernie is out of step with America. My God ... he honeymooned in Moscow, Soviet Union. He rooted for the other side in the Cold War.

Just remember this one fact------------------socialism sucks and ruins whole countries. It has in the past and will in the future, because it NEVER works.
