    LOL.

Everybody knows the real patriotic TRUTH:

THE MAJORITY OF AMERICANS OPPOSE A BORDER WALL
Recent polling reveals that most Americans oppose the expansion of the border wall, and two-thirds oppose Trump using emergency powers to fund its construction.

Yup, another victory for the patriots.

There is Legislation to work on But the Democrats are only interested in working against the President. It is so sad because we elected them to do their jobs.

So, the President is trying to find ways to get things done using the powers given to him by the Constitution, and legislation passed by Congress.

It has been an emergency for over a decade and this is the first President willing to address it regardless of how it effects his Numbers.

    He is not lying. IMO.

if Trump succeeds then it sets a precedent for Dems to do the same for single payer, ect... when they regain power in 2020

could even use it to pay off student loans, infrastructure, the list goes on and on

what is good for the goose is good for the gander

And you think a personal attack can successfully mask an inability to provide an intelligent response?

Ad Hominem attacks are always an identifier of those who lack the capacity and information necessary to engage in objective rational debate.

Not true. I'm surprise this "if then" meme keeps being spouted by the left.

Polls poll a random set of people. If the total population is "Democrat n/a 34%, Republican n/a 26%, Independent n/a 37%" then that will also represent the polled sample with the margin of error that is always quoted in scientific polls. One thing to notice is that Republican support has dropped and moved over to Independent

He doesn't need any votes in Congress to do this legally. Congress gave Presidents this power so he is following the law. Now Congress can try and pass legislation outlawing it but it would have to be veto proof in the Senate and that is where the doubt comes in.

16 states are challenging it in the 9th district federal court system.

Then it will be appealed to the SC.

Goes to show, you never can tell.

The law that Congress gave the president was unconstitutional (separation of powers)and should be rescinded. Congress makes mistakes many times.

The Constitution gives Congress the power to legislate. This legislation has never been challenged in court and has been used at least 58 times since inception. There is little chance it will be overturned by any court.

You did not read his article or my response.

A secure border does not mean that you support trump's wall.

At best, the poll he is using says that 56% support some combination of a physical and technological barrier, and even that ain't the same as trump's wall.

Please do elaborate how trump is not setting a precedent, if he succeeds on this issue.
