Looks like Gavein "he's a" Newsome just lives in some liberal fantasy land. The Federal Government gave the state of California to build a high speed rail from San Diego to San Francisco. The hair spray must be getting to his pea brain. What part of a high speed rail in the middle of the tulles from Bakersfield to Merced ain't what the Federal Government paid for and they're going to get their money back, doesn't our empty suit, empty head Governor get? Call it what you want spanky, but you'll be giving that money back.

I am sure even forum libs living outside California will refuse to finance California's disastrous failures with their own tax dollars and will demand the refund.... right, non-Califonia libs?

PS watching resistance snowflakes whine about retribution like little b%itches that they are when Trump punches back - priceless.

Trump did that by eliminating state property and income tax deductions over $10,000 from the Federal return. Any state where that's a problem needs to vote out the tax and spenders out of State Government. Just don't expect the rest of the country to subsidize excessively high property and state income taxes.

A train from Bakersfield to Merced will be nearly useless compared to the original planned route.

Unfortunately they "discovered" they couldn't build a train where all the people are and where all the highways are congested, because there were too many houses in the way, and the land to clear a pathway would have been prohibitively expensive.

Shouldn't the Right to be asking that to the Left?

Kalifornia needs to give the money back, and quickly! This is a textbook example "for the Ages" of what happens when a bunch of delusional, moron liberals try to build a railroad -- which is a thing that the United States used to be able to do on a routine basis a hundred years ago!

Anyway, Kalifornia Kiddies, you're tired of playing at 'railroad construction'...? Fine! NOW, give your parents back the money you took, and go find something to do that you're CAPABLE OF FINISHING! :psychoitc:

It is amusing how liberals/progressives can rage about Trump, file wasteful lawsuits against the administration, and use every form of #resistance they can think of; but if Trump makes a move we're supposed to be outraged that it is "retribution".

This pattern seems to be the modus operandi for the far left ---- push, push, push, but then if someone pushes back, cue the outrage!!! :rage:

Let's hope that Trump continues to demand the money back and takes action if they refuse.

I imagine there are quite a lot of options at Trumps disposal here.

Makes you wonder why they're not calling the SALT stuff "paying their fair share" instead of complaining, huh?

That's ok. We can just do some witholding of future funds and use it to build the walls in CA.

All that concrete to no where will end up as a roof for all the bums to squat under.

Imagine they not only lose the money, but those funds end up being used towards the wall in S. Cali.

So if you demand a refund for something you paid for, but didn't get, you are now engaged in political retribution? Good to know. I think Californians are already conditioned to not expect anything back for their tax dollar.

Well, then the great and wonderful Sanctuary-State of Kalifornia obviously needs to raise taxes on all the poor stupid people who continue to live in that hyperlib 'paradise' so that they can come up with the CASH to pay the rest of the nation back OUR money.
