Oh for ****’s sake. Do you know how absolutely pathetic it looks for you to blame everybody else for Trump’s inability to broker a deal? It’s a legitimate question to ask, and an important one. But apparently you believe that we shouldn’t hold nations which torture our citizens to the point of physical incapacitation to task. How sad you “moral” conservatives have turned out to be in the age of Trump.

This argument would be more impressive if you actually had the facts down first. There were concessions offered. Get that straight before you come back.

Much of what still passes for the progressive left have become rabid warmongers. Jill Stein was right.

Stein tweeted. "Despite Hillary's penchant for flip-flopping rhetoric, she's spent decades serving the causes of the Wall Street, war, & Walmart economy." AP, Who's Jill Stein? Googlers are asking, and the answer is: Clinton's new problem, Alexander Panetta, 7/13/16.

The issue is who walked away from the negotiating table - Trump unilaterally or both sides mutually.

This is not a Trump vs NK issue.

This is a Trump vs Trump issue.

But I love how you raise the fact that Trump could not even get Kim to agree on the same term for "denuclearization."

    Art of the ****ing fail.

    I think that's a fair statement.

Consider what the President said about Kim, multiple times. He described him as "quite the character" and a "different kind of guy". He also called him mercurial.

I doubt a Progressive would even ponder those descriptions for a moment, let alone know what it means. Seems all they can do is react to what they are fed.

Trump has rendered his opposition politically blind deaf and dumb.
They have no idea how opposed ordinary Americans are to the endless war our corrupt bipartisan ruling political class has engaged in for decades.

I’d like him to get a deal without the heaps of praise, so you can stick your **** straw man directly back into your cavernous and empty brain, bud.

Sorry, but TDS is not an malady I struggle with.

It would seem this question is one you will have to obsess over on your own.

And to your afterthought, I have no clue what your brain instructed you to write down.

The whole issue is denuking NK, and they couldn't agree on what that would end up looking like. I have no clue what you mean by "same term".

The last three times he did big face-to-face negotiations, he did not make any deal...

Got something to say about Trump's abrupt about-face on Otto Warmbier?

So you're attempting to suggest NK was willing to keep Resolution 1718 in place.

Do you know what that calls for?

I don't have reason to believe you do, so here are the bullet points to it.

    https://www.armscontrol.org/factsheets/UN-Security-Council-Resolutions-on-North-Korea

    Resolution 1718:

    • Demands North Korea refrain from further nuclear or missile tests.
    • Demands North Korea return to the NPT.
    • Decides North Korea shall suspend all ballistic missile activities.
    • Decides North Korea shall abandon its nuclear program in a “complete, verifiable, and irreversible” manner.
    • Decides North Korea shall abandon all WMD activities.
    • Calls upon North Korea to return to the Six-Party Talks.

Have the left's friends in NK given any indications whatsoever they would be willing to live up to the requirments of 1718?

That resolution put into place sanctions tied directly to the nuclear weapon and missile technology because North Korea was not willing to live up to the requirements. North Korea said - and the United States has now agreed in direct contrast to what Trump claimed - that it was not trying to get those sanctions lifted.

I support the President in his effort for peace with NK, but he screwed this up bad. He should have had some basic terms in place before ever sitting down with the little fat man. The only thing he did correctly was walk away, the bigger point is he should have never been there complementing a murdering dictator to begin with. He made America look weak, just like Obama did when he went to Cuba.

I was willing to let the first meeting and the meeting with Putin slide if the gambit paid off, but it is clear now that Trump is in over his head. He needs to leave the diplomacy to those with the temperament for it. His goals I'm fine with, but his execution has been a complete failure.

What about face? Are you changing the subject on purpose?

The President said he believe Kim when he said he didn't have anything to do with it. You have proof he did?

Is this some additional pivot in the TDS checklist?

Let's face the facts, the left doesn't give a **** about Otto. So why even bring him up?

I bring him up because I want to watch you spin some other dumb ****.

Trump said, during his 2018 State of the Union speech, "You are powerful witnesses to a menace that threatens our world, and your strength inspires us all," Trump said, addressing Warmbier's parents, during his 2018 State of the Union address. "Tonight, we pledge to honor Otto's memory with American resolve." He added in that same speech: "We need only look at the depraved character of the North Korean regime to understand the nature of the nuclear threat it could pose to America and our allies."

That's an about face to his statement in the press conference when he said, "He tells me that he didn't know about it and I will take him at his word." Trump added that Kim "felt badly about it. He felt very badly."

And then you want to talk about proof that Kim knew about it? ROFL...

Donald Trump's shocking, shameful about-face on Otto Warmbier

Uh huh. And so you're claiming NK is ready to do the following:

    • Refrain from further nuclear or missile tests.
    • Return to the NPT.
    • Suspend all ballistic missile activities.
    • Abandon its nuclear program in a “complete, verifiable, and irreversible” manner.
    • Abandon all WMD activities.
    • Return to the Six-Party Talks.
Really? You're want to claim that?
