The bad guys wear orange maga hats. They're easy to spot. A lot of the people wearing them look like the living dead and droll a lot.

Don't count your chickens before they're hatched, It ain't over until the fat lady sings; you got to know when to hold them, when to fold them, don't count your money until the dealing's done; Mueller has an ace in the hole.

Trump is going to flop. Yo, yeah, yay!

Even after ignoring client/attorney privilege democrats and Mueller are holding a whole pile of nothing. Probably one of the most vetted presidents of all time, he is practically a saint.

I'm afraid you missed the main point. Did you not read below what you quoted?

"In other words, no evidence is going to emerge ("THIS WEEK," soon, or maybe ever) that is powerful enough to force the craven GOP to oust Trump. Too many Democrats see the Russia controversy as some kind of magical "get out of jail free" card. They insist that we will be delivered from our misery -- as soon as the next shoe drops and Trump is impeached.
I understand the appeal of this line of thinking. In fact, I agree with many of the basic points:
    • I do think Putin must have something over Trump, because Putin is the only person (besides Ivanka) whom Trump never disses. Given how Trump lashes out at everyone else, that fact alone is fishy.
    • I think there probably was collusion by some people in the Trump campaign with Russian operatives.
    • I think Trump fired Comey to stop the Russia investigation (which Trump has all but admitted, himself). That's obstruction of justice, in my book."

I think it's worth noting that since Van Jones wrote this (7/29/17), we've covered some ground, we've learned some things, some people have been indicted and sentenced to prison, AND TRUMP HAS LIED 6000 times plus changed his story half as many times. Do those facts matter to you?

You people are so gullible. All of the crimes Cohen committed were unrelated to Trump and predated his working for Trump. Mueller gave him an out to reduce the sentences on his real crimes by pleading guilty to a non-crime of entering into an NDA. Trump made a habit of paying for NDAs to protect his family. His habit predated the campaign. No harm, no foul, just a moron trying to get his jail time reduced.

"I am ashamed of my own failings, and I publicly accepted responsibility for them by pleading guilty in the Southern District of New York."

"I am ashamed of my weakness and misplaced loyalty – of the things I did for Mr. Trump in an effort to protect and promote him."

"I am ashamed that I chose to take part in concealing Mr. Trump’s illicit acts rather than listening to my own conscience."

"Before going further, I want to apologize to each of you and to Congress as a whole."

"Mom and Dad…I am sorry that I let you down."

"It is painful to admit that I was motivated by ambition at times. It is even more painful to admit that many times I ignored my conscience and acted loyal to a man when I should not have."

"For that reason, I have come here to apologize to my family, to the government, and to the American people."

"He asked me to pay off an adult film star with whom he had an affair, and to lie to his wife about it, which I did. Lying to the First Lady is one of my biggest regrets. She is a kind, good person. I respect her greatly – and she did not deserve that."

"To you, Chairman Cummings, Ranking Member Jordan, the other members of this Committee, and the other members of the House and Senate, I am sorry for my lies and for lying to Congress."

"To our nation, I am sorry for actively working to hide from you the truth about Mr. Trump when you needed it most."

"I am not a perfect man. I have done things I am not proud of, and I will live with the consequences of my actions for the rest of my life."

This is just in the opening statement. Shall I go on? I listened live to the whole testimony. Did you?

Just your bolded statement, alone, causes me great curiosity. I simply cannot understand how people can stand behind a world leader who lies so easily - about things that are easily fact checked, or not important enough about which to lie.

I understand supporting the leader of the party to which you align yourself. I truly do. But the defense mechanism of this president's supporters is crazy! To say "so what?" to the fact that a president lies so easily - changes his story so frequently - declares love for a brutal dictator speaks volumes about what the GOP and this country has become.[/QUOTE]

Of course he should have mentioned.....that the GOP isn't like Democrats and evidence is what matters not made up allegations by Butt hurt Democrats.

So no I didn't miss the main point. Despite all his other beliefs.

Clearly the Russia investigation is not a nothing burger, which was the meme you posted. Simplistic, based on a parsed 18 month-old out-of-context twitter conversation. If you didn't miss the point, then you're ignoring it.

You are willfully ignoring so much. Why do you tolerate being lied to? What hold does Trump have on you? Is your ego tied to his success? I truly don't understand your allegiance. What would you have to see to convince you that Trump is a criminal? It's all there. In plain sight. Tax evasion, emoluments, election fraud, Trump Foundation, Trump University, Trump Steaks, witness tampering, Trump Tower, Moscow, obstruction... You've hitched your wagon to an unmitigated ******bag. For that, I'm sorry. One day you'll admit it and we can all move on from this atrocity. The stable genius can be put out to pasture.

Lies lies and more lies. Always. About every. single. thing.

I see.... Interesting theory. So he received all those checks before working for Trump..

But, even so... why is that relevant. His knowledge about Trump's crimes certainly don't predate his working for Trump.

essentially Cohen acted like all lawyers do, he lied and cheated for his client...I don't get the fake outrage from Cohen's republican questioners, are they so naive to believe that isn't the job of a lawyer? ....Cohen was doing his job, lying for his client

Oh is that like you willfully ignoring the Democrats and all that they do. Tolerating their lying from their creation til now? Running what again.....a resistance? That their resistance is just against Trump. How did they fool you so easily?

A resistance without a war. All due to knowing what their outcome is with a war. Knowing they can't afford to lose supporters.

Tax evasion.....yet no one sees the IRS charging Trump with any. Emoluments. The left lost that one in court. Election Fraud. The Demos have been doing that since their creation. Clinton Foundation, witness tampering and giving amnesty for clear cut crimes. Your Demos gave up breaches of our National Security and they have a past with not just colluding with Russia but with even putting a Russian Spy in the State Dept. Alger Hiss ring any bells?

The Democrats are the oldest party in the Country. They have committed more crimes than all other parties combined. They have always had a problem with ethics. They are racists and they have always been about dividing this country up. Not pulling it together.

Now they are showing the entire country how they will react off of Cohen. A Democrat caught up with not just lying to Congress. But to the entire Nation.

New reporting makes it pretty clear one matter Cohen could not discuss in his open door testimony last week has to do with the SDNY's investigation in to Cohen being offered a pardon.
