Again, while noble, unless everyone agrees to participate in that kind of 'disbursement of funds', you won't be able to do it. Not without becoming a dictatorship. And if you were to magically get everyone to agree, how long do you think it would last when there are millions of people choosing not to earn their keep, because they don't have to? Nordic nations are already feeling a hard pinch as a result of the huge numbers of immigrants they now have to carry, and who don't play by the agreed rules.

No, that's politics. Socialism is not politics. Politics may employ it, but then so do Religious groups, and families, and small businesses.

They tend to have reasonably low business taxes and have citizens pay for their extensive social programs. It's a choice those people have made and through experience have learned not to tax business.

 

All general taxes use other folks' money. Without general taxes, we don't even have a military.
