MSNBC has the answer: A little hint from the video: (Hint, hint: Trump isn't doing anything for manufacturing jobs)
Traditional, tighten the bolts dig the coal jobs will not return in any meaningful numbers. Why would they? Most of the Trump dynasty and everyone else imports their products from low wage countries like Viet Nam. Anything manufacturing centric in the U.S. will be automated to bomb costs. We are headed for "dark factories" as automation takes over. Raw materials in - finished product out with nobody in between.
Yeah ... and how do sanctimonious, do nothing demo-socialists plan to straighten that all out? Tariffs are Trump's way of combating the exploitation of foreign workers whose low wages cost Americans jobs, and result in huge trade deficits. His tax cuts spurred job creation. (D)'s want to throw $93 tn at green energy start-ups like Solyndra? Robotics aren't going to provide neo bohemian lay abouts with universal basic income via some sort of corporate "automation taxes". Robots are MORE easily outsourced to low tax, low reg. countries.
Why does the Left hate manufacturing workers? Obama from Jan 2015 to Jan 2017 grew 73k manufacturing jobs. Trump from Jan 2017 to Jan 2019 grew 462k manufacturing jobs. Trump whips Obama on this measure by 6.33 times!
