OK. You gave some good reasons for your evaluation on Carter, and I accept & agree with you on them. What about Obama?

    Obama gets a D-

    America's first affirmative action President.

An Alinskyite community organizer who agitated, caused trouble and divided society.

Ok. That's a start, but still very generalized. How about some specifics?

Sometimes one will say something that blows their credibility to Mars. "Cuban Missile Crisis and JFK blinked and gave Kruschev what he wanted."

Anyone that lived through the missile crisis knows that Khrushchev "blinked" He honored the blockade and removed the missiles from Cuba. Later, JKF closed an obsolete Jupiter missile base in Turkey as a face saving gesture.

Well I didn't live through the first 3 but here's my opinion:

Franklin Roosevelt = D Terrible economically (Keynesian economics) Racist Japanese internment, segregation.
Harry Truman = C Appointed KKK Hugo Black to SCOTUS
Dwight Eisenhower = A Skipped him. 1954 Brown vs Board of Ed. 1957 CRA, 1960 CRA. Not given any credit for that or desegregating the military.
John Kennedy = D Terrible on race relations despite historical rewrites, drugs & women.
Lindon Johnson = F Also segregation & Viet Nam. Was so unpopular he couldn't run for a second term.
Richard Nixon = C Because he was right in the middle politically. Supported Israel, desegregated schools, EEOC, Affirmative Action. - Watergate
Gerald Ford = C- Fill in President who didn't accomplish much.
Jimmy Carter = D terrible economy. Olympics, Oil embargo.
Ronald Reagan = A What's not to like?
George H.W. Bush = C- Not a powerful leader like Reagan. Too soft.
Bil Clinton = F Should have been impeached.
George W. Bush = B- Turns out Iraq was revenge for attempt on H.W. Unforeseen consequences. But did throw some shade.
Barak Obama = F Also should have been impeached. IRS Scandal & even worst ever scandal #SPYGATE
Donald Trump = A- minus because has not kept promise to #LockHerUp

I forgot Dwight Eisenhower on my OP. My bad. Lots of thoughtful posts, a few just repetitive bias and attacks.

Not bad, but can see your Liberal bias with Obama and Trump. I'll give Trump a B+ and Obama a C-. Obama is so far from an A it's rediculas to even consider him anywhere near that high. I had to stretch it to give him a C-.

The GPA for the 12 Presidents graded in my life time calculated to 1.3 or a D+ or poor. The Reagan administration was the catalyst of our decent, Clinton egged it on, and G.W. let NeoLiberalism run amok. Obama missed an opportunity and whatever you think of the disgusting pansy Trump he's handing us the tools to destroy NeoLiberalism through the sheer force of his personality. Our practice of Capitalism is the enemy within: destroying our values, creating division, and spawning the victim culture of our right-wingers.

One minor quibble, I wish that it was only Carter's foreign policy that was a complete disaster. The man's ability to turn almost everything he touched into a steaming pile of manure was amazing.

Apologies for having an opinion. Of course even a blanket F report opens up debate. They're rather heterogeneous in their failures. Obama's orthodoxy differ somewhat, for example, from Trump's assault on economic rationality.

Shucks, you've only gone and hurt my feelings. You didn't answer the question mind you. Take the chimp loving actor. He at least had a consistent economic strategy. Still derives an F, mind you, as he pretended it was anything but inefficient Military Keynesianism. The surprisingly haired reality TV star, in contrast, has actively pursued the elimination of trade specialisation according to comparative advantage. That's an A for effort and F for sense.

First of all nobody knew about JFK ordering the removal of the Jupiter IMB's until 20 years later.
That's was one of the agreements that JFK wanted, keep it a secret. It was kept a secret for 20 years.

No weapon becomes obsolete if they can still destroy targets or kill the enemy.
The B-52 bomber platform is almost 60 years old and will be flying well into the 2050's.
The Browning M-2 .50 cal HMG has been around for 80 years.
The Colt .45 ACP M-1911A1 pistol is 100 years old.
The U.S. military still uses the Armalite action M-16's that was developed over 50 years ago. And it's still chambered for a varmint hunting cartridge.

From its beginning, the project faced criticism from Air Force leaders who believed that the missile’s range made it a strategic weapon, not a battlefield support weapon, which they considered to be an encroachment on their mission by the Army.

The conflict between the Army and the Air Force grew when the Air Force began developing its IRBM, the Thor. Throughout 1956, the Army and Air Force disagreement made national headlines when officials from both branches began denouncing the other publically.

In order to end the dispute, Secretary of Defense Charles Wilson signed a memorandum in November 1956 stating that the Jupiter would be transferred to the Air Force and the Army would be limited to developing short range and battlefield support weapons with ranges of less than 320 km. The Jupiter missile was also considered by the Navy for a sea-launched system, which led to a collaborative development effort between the Army and Navy. The sea-launched missile concept later evolved into the Navy’s Polaris sub launched ballistic missile (SLBM) program.

    Specifications
The Jupiter missile had a range of 2,400 km (1,491 miles) with the same Mk 3 and 4 reentry vehicles and used the same 1.44 MT W-49 warheads used on the Atlas missile. It featured an inertial navigation system which, though only accurate to 1,800 m CEP, was revolutionary at its time.
