    Well you can criticize Jews and live. Doesn't usually work out that well for people who publicly criticize Islam.

    She says more Muslims are needed in Congress. That seems to imply that she's looking out for her own kind, as if she's not really into the whole melting pot thing. Why not just move to a Muslim majority nation?

    Hmmm...

    The only Muslims that I know are Peaceful People, Honest And Friendly People, and Beautiful Girls and Women.

    I totally can't relate to Trump's (and the RW's) Anti-Muslim Narrative.

    One of my Dearborn Girls is actually Tlaib's second cousin.

    I am totally not feeling the narrative of this thread.:salute:

    House Democrats couldn’t pass a resolution decrying the blatant anti-Semitism of one of their own.

    It’s hard to decry blatant anti-semitism when a major constituency of yours consists of blatant anti-semites.

    Okay, so why is Ilhan Omar so preoccupied with Israel/Jews? What, in her experience, ever had anything to do with Israel/Jews?

    She was forced to flee the violence of a civil war- her own Muslim countrymen tearing her childhood home country apart and slaughtering and brutalizing each other. Then she was put in a refugee camp in Kenya that was 97% Muslims- who spent their days tearing things apart, and slaughtering and brutalizing each other.
    There wasn't a Jew within a thousand miles of her when she was experiencing all of the horrors in Somalia and Kenya, and, if there was, those Jews better have been hiding really well, or running very fast.

    Then she was granted the privilege of access to the land of milk and honey, where she came into contact with real, actual Jews for the first time in her life, and they didn't slaughter and brutalize her, or even insult or inconvenience her in any way.

    Okay, where, in her experience, did she experience "empirical and powerful" reasons to have any sort of issue with Jews? What, in her experience, justifies, or explains, her grudge against Jews, and her grievances with Israel? Why does Ilhan Omar regularly criticize a country/people that have basically have no connection to her whatsoever, while she never mentions the people responsible for the hardships she was subjected to, and the horrors she witnessed?

    Why does Ilhan Omar have such a raging hateboner for Jews?

    I know why.

    Anybody else got an idea?
