Pick the ones from your lifetime. You can give explainations for your choices, or not.

    Here are mine:

    1. George W. Bush
    1. Jimmy Carter
    3. Harry Truman
    4. Dwight Eisenhower
    5. George H. W. Bush
    6. Ronald Reagan
    7. John Kennedy
    8. Barack Obama
    9. Richard Nixon
    10. Gerald Ford
    11. Donald Trump
    12. Bill Clinton
    13. Lyndon Johnson

I couldn't pick between Carter and Bush. They are both people that I think anyone could like to be around.

I wasn't alive when Truman was President but we were both alive at the same time. He seemed to be down to Earth.

Skipping to last, Johnson was the scummiest of scumbags.

    Obama for sure.

The constant access to cocaine would be awesome even though my property value would drop.

    It's still worth it.

Didn't have to even think for a second on this one. Kennedy - hands down. Sipping on Martini's and hanging with Mary Munroe - JFK was also the closest to being a real human.

    1) GW Bush (he could help me cut firewood then we could have a beer)
    2) Trump (Perhaps get me in some good golf clubs)
4)Everyone else (they are dead so would probably be pretty quiet neighbors)
    4) Clinton (At least he might invite me to the pool parties with all the women)
    5) Carter (He'll be joining #3 soon and maybe he knows some people that could help fix up my house)
    6) Obama (I guess it would be better than living next to a freeway)

I've only had contact with a couple of the twelve presidents in my life time. So obviously that reduces my list quickly. Funny story. Reagan once waved off my COO to ask how I was doing. I liked the man but I don't view him as a particularly good man.

Carter and Obama I suspect are good men so they'd be in the running. Clinton is an overtly bright mind and quite captivating but being in close proximity for an extended period I'd likely have issues with him, and Kennedy, and Johnson, and Trump. Trump has earned my ire he's a disgusting POS posing as a man. At least that is my restrained view of that idiot pansy wannabe.

Herbert Hoover, he didn’t like getting involved in other people’s business. I can tolerate a neighbor like that.

Got to be Jefferson. I'll really enjoy having a chat with him in Heaven one day if I am so lucky. Kennedy would be another good choice.

If I ever go to Hell I'd talk to Bush II or Lincoln. Both would be an interesting chat. Ive alwags wanted to smoke a blunt with W.

Go to heaven for the weather, and to hell for the company. I think you might allot more presidents to chat with in the southern location.

I would be pleased to have any of the list as my neighbor. But each for a different reason. Because I only knew them through the TV I really didn't know them. But those that seemed to be down-to-earth and not phony were Reagan, Trump, the Bushes, Carter, and Truman. The others seemed to be too stiff (Nixon, Ford, Eisenhower, & Johnson), acting (Clinton & Obama), or royalty (Kennedy). My choices have nothing to do with their policies. If I had but one choice I would pick Reagan, he never uttered a bad word about any man and he loved a good joke of a funny story. Probably the most common sense president of my lifetime. My kind of friend.

Carter and the Bushes sound like neighborly types.

I've met enough of Trump's neighbors on Palm Beach Island to conclude that he is not a good neighbor to have. More likely to serve you with a lawsuit than a neighborly apple pie.

Bush II drove me nuts with his policies and some of the people he hired, that being said, hands down, I would like to have this very nice, unassuming man for a neighbor. Bush II and Obama have the best sense of humor by far and that would help if they lived next to me. Obama's IQ is scary, however. Carter is a wonderful human being but the constant hammering a sawing would get on my nerves. Ford was one of the nicest guys to occupy the White House but accident prone and a liability risk.

Eisenhower - I don't like genuflecting before personal gods. A**hole alert Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Clinton, Trump. Reagan? I voted for Ronnie twice (or was it three times for governor) but never knew the guy. Did anyone? Bush I? Nice guy but not a bundle of laughs.

Trump won't get you into good gold clubs. The Russians are going to cash him out when he's done, so he'll have to pay the greens fees in other people's golf courses like all the other duffers.

Harry Truman. (interesting, intelligence, classy and erudite and posessed of a common touch which comes naturally. Proof that not all people from modest background and not become Archie Bunker or worship a crass, vulgar ex reality TV celebrity).

George HW Bush. Class, brains and a sense of duty.

Barack Obama (interesting, classy and erudite)
If Trump moved next door to me, I'd wait until the trash tabloids did features on Trump, and then about three months later I'd unload on some sucker who would be dumb enough to think that Trump would be someone you would want to live next door to. By that time, I would be tired of the trash on the lawn, the yelling and screaming from next door, and the rest of the trashiness that follows Trump around My neighborhood is gentrifying steadily right now, and we don't need it trashed up by a vulgar wannabe with whorehose baroque taste.

I am not under the impression that my neighbors will inevitably invite me to much. I am going with Carter. He's the sort who would do something constructive if I asked him to shut up his barking dog at night or trim the branches of his tree that were overhanging over my pool. Even if I could not contact him directly, his wife Rosylnn or children Amy or Jack would be neighborly and fairminded about the issues as well

Wouldn't matter to me. If they were neighborly, it would be interesting to learn more about the job and all the little things about life as President.

Shrub. He found lots of time to maintain his property even while prez. Too bad he still had time to screw up the world.

Maybe Teddy Roosevelt. He’d probably help keep the wildlife populations in check.

DEFINITELY Jimmy Carter, the oldest living president ever who built his own $160,000 house that he still lives in.If you were doing a little rehab on your own house Jimmy and Rosalind are the only two you could count on for help and advice.

Don't ask Trump. He won't give you a straight answer. Besides he hates the job and hates being held responsible.

Eight of your choices, you would have to live next to a cemetery.

But if they were still alive today I would have to go with Richard M. Nixon and Ronald Reagan.

Both Nixon and Reagan would go out of their way not to disrupt their neighbors or fellow Americans lives when traveling around the OC in Nixon's case and Santa Barbra or the West Side of L.A. in Reagan's case.

No big motorcades with flashing blue lights and sirens, usually just one regular size Cadillac limo moving around incognito.
No roadblocks or streets being shut down.

Both Nixon and Reagan refused to **** up peoples travel plans at LAX and always used El Toro MCAS with Nixon and Reagan always used March AFB or Point Mugu NAS.

Nixon as President ordered the Marines at Camp Pendleton to stop ****ing with the surfers at the Trestles and allow them to surf on Camp Pendleton northern beach which was adjacent to Nixon's Summer White House in San Clemente.

But I wouldn't really mind every morning looking out of my window seeing my neighbor's wife picking up the morning newspaper on the driveway.
