So you KNOW with absolute certainty whether Trump has been compromised by Putin. The CIA and Congress needs your information. As a caring American who is interested enough to argue your points on a public forum, you owe it to the rest of us to go to Congress and inform them on it so they don't overlook important data.

But of course you're just posturing bullshit and don't know whether Trump is a Russian puppet or not.

To not care about Trump is the same as not caring about the future of this country. So then if you're not interested, what in hell are you doing here, posting and arguing about politics???? THAT, alone, shows significant caring.

All-in-all, it now seems your entire post was bullshit.

Not really. He's supposed to execute the laws enacted by the legislature.

The Presidency should never become a lifetime office or a family business.

No, I know with absolute certainty that the United States is not and never will be "dominated" by Russia.

Not at all. I think that Presidential politics are 99% posturing, and under Trump they're 99.9% posturing.

I believe strongly in a "forces and trends" reading of history.

The only way to understand the world is to talk to other people about it. I want to understand the world. After 14 years of these kinds of discussions I've come to see all "political moments" as provincial and illusory. This political moment is just as provincial and illusory as all others.

No, you just had no idea where I'm coming from. Hopefully, now, you have a better sense.

As for grifting Canada... I'm w/ Southpark's apropos catch phrase on that front, lol. Not sure if the mods would be ok w/ a clip of 'F-Canada' though... so in lieu of that - (I love Canadians btw much nicer than us Americans, lol)

I take it you're talking abut the 22nd. I think one of two things needs to be done with it. 1 repeal it, give the people the opportunity to vote for the person they want as president for as many times as they want. That the people choices shouldn't be limited by law. 2. If we're going to keep the 22nd, limit the presidency to two terms, Senators ought to also be limited to two terms and Congressmen to six terms.

If we have term limits on one branch of government, the administration, then we should have it on the other branch also, congress. All or none.

No evidence that Trump has actually been hard on Russia except of course where the Congress forced him to impose sanctions.

And forget trying to make a silly straw man arguement. Nobody ever said the Supreme Court or Senate were Russian puppets.

Yes accept that there should be a bit over 6,000 Reps, it's only 500+. Repensatation rates, as intended, are way off and that completely throws off the EC giving someone in Wyoming 6x the voting power of someone in California. They system is so ****ed up, a person could win the EC with less than a quarter of the votes (assuming 100% voter turnout). Either expand the the House or go to direct elections.

I'm not a liberal. I would be saying the same thing if Clinton received less votes but won the presidency. Party is irrelevant. The issue is having a person serve in the highest office in the world, who the people he is governing specifically rejected him. That is un-American.

I was was a Republican. I was a member of the NRA by age 12. I have guns.

But because you elected and continue to support trump, the lefties get all of my support for the rest of my life; including taking your guns away. And doing away with the EC is a GREAT start. No Republican will ever win a national election again. I'm all in.

You pull this same effen stunt every time. This ends this nonsense. I was not even the one you kept attacking over the reading issue. He kept telling you he did read all of it.

State delegates telling the people in their state that their popular vote does not count... priceless.

Actually it is American. This happened only worse when John Q Adams was elected. He lost both the popular vote and electoral vote so the American system still functioning solved the problem of that time. This has always been American. (worse means to your beliefs, not the system working)

if you don't want me to point out you are addressing things people didn't say, then stop doing it.
you appear to be horribly confused. I specifically pointed out you did not read what I posted, and you were attacking a position I do not hold.

I was reading on Sat another article and this in red is exactly what the Democrats want to do. And the lot of them refuse to accept Trump due to provisions of the Constitution.
They are out to do enormous damage to the constitution.

having a president serve in office the American people specifically rejected is not American.
any time a person is governing against the will of the governed, that is distinctly un-American.

California knows all about this problem but refuses to either investigate with full public disclosure or take moves to end the illegals from voting.

No voter in CA has to prove he is a citizen to any Democrat. And this state is a Democratic party powerhouse.

No, not recognizing how this country works is anti american. Learn this, and this time READ MY WORDS, and do not misrepresent me again, A cadre of 50 sovereign states pick presidents. WE never have tumbled together the entire voting public as were they one voice.

Trump won 30 states. Hillary but 20. That is the fact.
