Cosby didn’t poison the women either...was that ok?

What Cosby did was make them go unconscious, and then he took advantage of them in that vulnerable state.

I'm not seeing a clear analogy here.

There's a difference between hormonally causing a woman's reproductive function to be altered contrasted to drugging them to make them unconscious and helpless. (Especially because in this situation the man had such a close relationship with the woman and they were already having sex)

    NO, there is NO difference.

Drugging someone without their CONSENT is wrong no matter why , no matter what the relationship is.

YOU: "" (Especially because in this situation the man had such a close relationship with the woman and they were already having sex)""""""

It makes no damn difference if the man and woman had a close relationship or ever had sex....or never met.

There it is again... the Anti-Choicer's ignorant belief that if a man has sex with a woman he has "special rights" over her or owns her...a really ignorant cave-man idea that persists despite efforts to educate them and bring them into the 20th century.

But it's MORE wrong if they don't already have an intimate relationship.

    Yes, there is a difference.

Surely you wouldn't say a man raping a woman is just as bad if that man has already been having consensual sex with that women woman every night for the last year.

This isn't just some random rapist that forced her to abort, this is a man she AGREED to have consensual sex with.
I believe that carries certain implications, whether or not if you believe what he did to her was right.

And yet in another thread you stated "How dare you make her be forced to have her rapist's baby!"

You're inconsistent, if not anything else.

    NO, not according to law.

    NO, not according to law.

    YES, rape is rape.

So now you're insinuating rape into this....where NONE has occurred and has NOTHING to do with the OP.

    WEIRD!

Rape has nothing to do with the OP.

What he did to her in THIS thread was wrong/illegal/against the law and that isn't my opinion....it's LAW.

YES, DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, that was ANOTHER thread, not this one....you seem VERRRRRRY confused.

    Only in your mind...

No judge (except perhaps for some crazy feminist judge) is going to sentence the man to the same amount of time for raping a woman if he was already married to her and they had just had passionate consensual lovemaking the night before.

    :) Prove it.

You can't… you can't even address the whole post much less prove what you claim :) (because it isn't true)

No, having sex with a woman previously does NOT give you the right to rape her....that is cave man thinking....and the law is not "feminist", it treats everyone equally.

Cave men thought that having sex with a woman made her their property but enlightened , intelligent people do not think that way.

You could not, as usual, address my entire post but had to go off on an Off Topic rant about rape probably because you haven't won an On Topic argument yet :)

As long as we're off topic, do you think if someone murders someone they know it's a lesser crime than if they murdered a stranger?

That is what you are saying.

Murder is obviously a different thing, but to some extent, depending on the type of situation, yes I do.

    Then you are wrong....ask a lawyer....or don't you dare?

Murder is NOT a "different thing", it's a crime as is rape.

I notice how,as usual, you could NOT address my post but had to cherry pick it...

Do you really think that if a man has sex with a woman her rights are destroyed? She becomes his property?? ( See above)

It shouldn't. The law should give some level of respect and privacy to the marriage bed, or in this case the consensual sex bed.

When a woman willingly has sex, she gives away a fraction of her sovereignty.
Two become one, and all that. Surely I don't have to explain this to you.

It's a horrible thing for a man to have to watch his child be aborted and there's nothing he can do.

(You might say "The man should have thought of that before he...", but so should the woman)

The law shouldn't treat everyone equally? Now that's TROLLING.

    .
What do you mean by that?

You mean everyone should be able to marry , like gays?

    :roflol::roflol::roflol:
What a ridiculous, ignorant, cave-man, idiotic, sexist , misogynistic statement.

AND AS USUAL YOU HAVE NOTHING TO BACK IT UP, NO PROOF ,NO FACTS

    Here's the facts: SHE DOESN'T..

How TROLLISH to claim one's rights are based on if they have sex or not...…... LOL

    No, they don't.

There is NO child aborted ….and he doesn't have to watch....AND some men are delirious with joy since they won't have to pay support !!!

Ya, he should have because once he has sex, he as nothing else to say about it.

Not necessarily because the woman still has choices after having sex :) :) :nana:

Why do you believe it's a right of a woman to have a baby if she wants to?

Punishment of 6 years for violating that right?

It takes two to have a baby, and the man never consented to having a baby.

    Interesting.
What will probably happen is they will charge the man with assault as if the fetus was a part of the woman, and sentence him accordingly. That's just a way of punishing him for killing a fetus without actually legally recognizing that they are punishing him for having killed a fetus.

Already existing laws can be used to punish people for crimes that aren't illegal, even if the application of those laws are illogical.

A jury would be more than happy to convict him of something he wasn't actually guilty of, just to punish him for something that they couldn't otherwise convict him of because there's no specific law against it.

Note in that article even ordinary people who were pro-choice were clamoring for that man to be charged with some sort of homicide.

Because people have a right to have children (part of that " Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" that you wish to deny women), people have a right to their own bodies.

    Yup ! :)

So what? It isn't up to him to consent or not...….and he certainly has no right to take away a pregnant woman's choice....

Here's the rest of that post that you had to cherry pick: ""forced abortion is a crime"

As of the date of the link, 2012, they had not charged him with vehicular homicide since the fetus had not been born.

Nevertheless, they will be punishing him for a form of homicide.

That's how the legal system works. You don't have to charge someone with something specific to punish them for it. You just charge them with something else, then give them the punishment for doing the other thing they weren't charged with.

From the link : ""But the cause of death won't be known until Boulder County Coroner Emma Hall completes her investigation into the cause and manner. If the baby died before birth, then under Colorado law, the Boulder County District Attorney's Office cannot impose a vehicular homicide charge.""

Care to go back to the TOPIC?
