    Lefties gonna lefty.

When they are busted on their hypocrisy they try and worm out of it by saying "I do not believe that"....when they obviously do.

    I don't . I ask.

Most right-wingers don't ask. They assume Hannity, Fox, Rush and their echo chamber know. And that's how the above dialogue begins.

Just so I can make sure I don't do that, could you please show an example? With quotes and references, if possible.

Again you assume knowing the left winger position. Is it because you heard it on the radio? Must we go through the dialog on the OP again and again every time we have a debate with a conservative?

    Ok ok... If you insist..

Quote where I excuse such racist behavior..

    Of course!

I've known the meaning of the word since I was in High School (many decades ago). . But since you told me to look it up, I would have assumed you knew too.

Not that I can think of.

BTW, I don't know why my spell-checker keeps changing border to boarder. Yeah..... let's go with that one.... Why not?

I think others are too lazy to ask instead of assuming. And this sometimes gives the impression that they are too dumb to understand facts and logic.

Yeah, but at least you seem to be open to self-criticism.
If you were to read the OP, you might notice that there is not a single word about what the right thinks.

Of course, your contributions would have been taken more seriously if you had read it before you commented on it.

If you are a common member of this Forum, like me, I doubt you have the power to deplatform anyone. That is done by powerful people with a lot of influence.

This. . "Right-wingers can't wait to come to a forum like this to use them because they think it will make them look "intelligent"." but don't feel bad, we are all hypocrites!

I agree with you almost 100%. So why do we argue? The only thing I disagree with you about is the border wall. It would never work as a stand alone thing, but I never considered it a replacement for border patrol, just a tool for them.

Does that mean that the reason you don't provide an example is that you don't have the power to do so?

    I just did what?

You seem to be accusing me of excusing racism. I do not take such accusation lightly, because, as anybody who has been here for a while knows, confronting racism has been one of my main "quarrels" on this forum. So I asked you for a quote.

If you are an honest poster, you will either provide the quote, or retract your accusation.

It is important to know who is a serious poster because they are here for serious debates. Posters who are not serious are here only for our amusement, and are considered a joke. We don't waste our time treating them as anything else.

I'm not saying that you are the latter. You tell us by showing the quote or retracting.

Really? That was what was bothering you? Any 10 year old will tell you that that's purely stylistic. You took it literally to mean "mind reading"?

    My God!

When you say "what those on the right generally think" one would obviously assume that you are referring to "think" in terms of political beliefs. Not that somebody actually read your collective minds and you were thinking "this will make me look intelligent" Which would also be very specific, and not what they "generally think" (leading me to believe that your response is a post-hoc excuse, btw)

Your post is even worse than I thought!

Priceless! Coming from somebody who just said

    "I know what liberals believe"

Once again showing how liberals prove what we say... with quotes, while right-wingers.... not so much.

Are you suggesting liberal have no position? That they prefer not to be associated with an actual position? That you in no way made broad/general sweeping statement above? Why are you afraid?

We want to be associated with no positions that the right wingnut media bubble associates with us. Ask. Never assume.

And, that is correct. I did not make any sweeping political statement above. As right-wingers do.

    Afraid? Please be more specific.

Of course you made sweeping generalizations. Anyone can read that. So you admit to taking a knee jerk reaction on positions simply based on what others think. Pretty stupid. hence the fear.
