I won't comment on a plan until I actually see it.

I would like to see a plan that allows illegals a chance to register and gain legal status. That plan should also be accompanied by a very robust border protection plan and an equally robust system in which anyone that overstays a Visa, or and legal resident that commits a crime, can be quickly rounded up and deported.

Yes. The border must absolutely be secured before any legalization process is implemented. Jeb Bush has actually written a good book describing such a plan.

Upgrading Ellis Island is much more efficient for processing refugees. We should not have this drama on our southern border.

First, I'm curious where you got your figure of only 5 million (out of a nation of 320 million) that are looking for work.

Secondly, this comment, "if you want higher wages why in the world would you deport the lowest earners," seems to make no sense. Do you really not understand supply and demand in regards to a labor market?

Underaged children ought to be sent back with their parents.
