No I am male. ha ha

So in regards to yourself, does Polly want a cracker? Or does the troll want to be fed? ha ha

But my point remains. Your posts are those of a demagogue. And far too childish, IMO, and that is why I think I once accused you of being a juvenile, a juvenile that uses political forums as his own kitty litter box.

But perhaps you have posted serious replies and observations, and I have just not ran across them. I will keep an eye out for future ones, or if its just the same old same old coming from you. I would love to move you into the category of serious, constructive posting members. Thoughtful members.

Yeah, when he did that I thought he was being really irresponsible. But at the time, I knew what he was trying to do. He wanted working people to be able to relate to him, a guy who was rich as hell, living in great luxury, with no working class friends, just other elites and the elites who rule over us in DC.

But he took it too far. Over the years he had probably listened to the way construction workers talked to one another, and this was the way he thought he could communicate the best with those that would vote for him. And win brownie points. "Gee, he talks like one of us". And by god, it worked, as he beat the proclaimed unbeatable candidate after beating a line up of proffessional politicians. And he could pull it off, while Hillary in her black speak, looked like an elite trying to be black.

Yes I think I am a decent observer of other human beings and can discern what reality actually is better than many people, for I am not a partisan. And therefore not compromised, at least as much as most partisans are. There are some more folks here like me, some left of center, some right of center. But IMO, most of us are seriously compromised and it stands out.

I dont think trump was serious

He was speaking casually and saying things that ordinary people say privately

Except thst he is not ordinary or in private

So he has to choose his words more carefully now just as obama learned to do

Imagine if they'd done that against Obama?

Are you OK with Trump squelching your free speech? Or does "free speech" only apply when they agree with you?

A 79 year old man sucker punching a 26 year old millennial is appropriate and acceptable.

Wow...after reading this thread, a few comments come to mind. The first is a quote of something my Grandmother would say: "Have some of you people lost your ever loving freaking mind?".

    1. The ability to express oneself, no matter how vile or disgusting that expression is, is a fundamental right in America....and it has nothing to do with the 1st Amendment.
    2. Nobody has a right to violently attack someone because they do not like what they are saying. I do not care if it is Hitler himself. If you do not like what someone is saying and want to discourage others from listen to hateful, racist, or vile speech, then educate people as to why that speech is not acceptable and should not be listened to.
    3. A TV show that encourages violence against people because of the things they say...no matter how vile and disgusting, should be condemned by all.
    4. I am assuming the "list" shown on the show is a list of words that will trigger NSA surveillance if used in emails/text. This specific list was compiled and listed by the show. There is very little doubt that the order of the words was intentional. Why do people excuse this as "it is only a TV show"? How can anybody excuse it?
    5. Some people complain that others are encouraging "violence and hatred", but ignore it when their own "side" does it.
    6. Some people complain when "crazy" people become violent and hurt many people...yet these same people do not consider that their own actions or acceptance of inappropriate actions of others that may trigger the violent natures in other people. An unhinged person may see that "list" on the show and consider it some divine message for action. "Crazy" has no political affiliation.
    7. Some people point at the hatred of others and then show their self-righteous displeasure with their own brand of hatred....all while wishing for World Peace. What a bunch of hypocrites.
    8. Supporting "Free Speech" for all is NOT supporting or condoning the speech itself. Just because people think it is wrong to violently attack a Nazi, that is NOT supporting the hateful rhetoric that the Nazi may be spewing.
    9. There are basically 2 reasons why CBS would encourage violence against speech. A - They are catering to their core viewers and are encouraging violence for profit. B - They are attempting to form a Narrative for society with their own brand of hateful propaganda. In either case, CBS should be ashamed of themselves and cancel the show on the spot.

And the ACLU stopped that kind of government censorship.

I'm as anti-Klan as you come (as a Catholic, I know that I'm an eventual target for them), but they have a right to peaceably assemble, just like anyone else, without the government squashing their free speech as reprehensible as it may be.

People are legally allowed to say anything they want unless it specifically instructs people to do harm. Read the 1A. If you get angry because of what someone says, you are free to refute what they say. But you can NOT assault them. Sorry. You can't require them to be silenced because it upsets you. This is where our young college snowflakes need to brush up on the constitution, because when they enter the real world, they're in for a surprise.

I don't agree with what some people say, but I don't want them to be silenced. I want their words spread around so people know what they're saying, good or bad.

Why don't you address the post instead of driving by? Do you really think living KKK members in the US or anywhere in the world for that matter, are causing more damage than radical Islam? This is NOT a defense of the KKK. They're scum. But you need some perspective on who is truly more dangerous and has actual power in this world. I'll give you a hint. Nazi's haven't had any power since WWII. Radical Islam controls the ME and has for quite a while. It also causes more terrorism world wide than basically everything else put together.

All you need do is call someone a Nazi ( or Fascist or Racist) and some leftist screwball will take that as license to attack them, and always in a cowardly fashion.. There ignorance and volatility is frequently demonstrated by anyone wearing a MAGA hat.

Bill Maher is an idiot and that statement is opinion and not fact. I know plenty of racist that are not Republicans.

Wasnt it Trump at his rallies who repeatedly encouraged violence against his opponents and detractors at the hands of his supporters? Didn't he go so far as to offer to cover the legal bills of those who were arrested for perpetrating violence against those who oppose him?
Can I assume then that these violent actions are not actually a "George Soros Brownshirt Stormtroopers thing" and can more accurately be described as a "Donald Trump Brown Shirt Stormtroopers thing"?

I'll defend this man to spew his hate as much as I'll defend a Nazi to spew their hate. It's not that I care fore either of them but I defend their right to free speech.
