If there was criminal activity, basically sedition, happening in the FBI and DOJ don't you think it would be important to get to the bottom of it?

Don't pretend any state charges made by NY will be taken seriously.

For the clock to stop you must prove the person was fleeing prosecution.
Clinton just went home to drink some wine. :)

I'm not sure why the right wing noise machine continues to push this myth about the FBI investigation being predicated on the "dossier", but it does.

It is also obsessed with protecting Carter Page, the one Trump campaign "senior foreign policy advisor" that the FBI knew that the Russians had tried to recruit.

The real question is, did the FBI have enough evidence without the dossier to get the FISA warrant? If not some folks are going to jail.

So the critical factor for Trumpies is not all the actual lies, criminal convictions, and illegal behaviors from Trump and his buddies, is that the FISA warrants had their "i's" dotted and "t's" as the only way that Trump and Republicans to not go to jail!

Remember the old days were when the Right would hate a technical excuse for leaving a criminal to go free? : lol:

Now Republicans call severe felonies as "process crimes" and advocate those criminals belong to the White House.

    Go figure....

Give it a rest, bro. Trump IS YOUR president.

Will you accept the report if it says there was no abuse? That everything was above board and done in accordance with the applicable standards and procedures?

Or will you find a way to dismiss it?

I for one am prepared to accept the outcome.

Funny thing is, I said the same thing about the Mueller report. I asked a lot of Trump cultists to make the same commitment, but none of them had the courage to do so.

I expect more of them will say that they will accept the outcome of this report, but only because they think it will conclude that there was abuse of the process. I wonder how many of them will change their position if they don't get the result they want ...

    Of course.

That was the reason for the Mueller inquiry. If a campaign was colluding with a foreign government, wouldn't it be important to get to the bottom of it? And yet Trump and his lemmings called that investigation a hoax and a witch hunt.

Both investigations are important. One is now wrapped up. Let's see about the other.

Which it was a witch hunt started by a few insiders and false evidence. Worse than Watergate.

You may have missed it but Barr didn't exonerate anyone. He didn't even write the report.

Papadopoulos was targeted because he had communications with Israel. How does that happen?

“There was no collusion and of course I wasn't colluding because I have never met a Russian official in my entire life. Let alone on the campaign or the transition team.”

None of which will impact him while he is POTUS, and if he is re-elected, the five year statue of limitations will have run out.

The statute will begin when an indictment is returned and he's arraigned. Secret or sealed indictments have a legal "shelf life" too.

Keep consulting your 'feeling's, P P. Trump will be unable to claim any statute of limitations, as you well know, because no indictment will be served while he is in office.
