I don't see how Dems can remove Trump from office at this point. Putting aside the fact that they don't control the Senate, Nancy Pelosi doesn't sound interested, especially now, in even beginning impeachment proceedings.

I think the smarter Dems will continue to b & moan about Russia and Barr in order to get voted in 2020. Impeachment proceedings won't even begin.

    No chance.

The more veteran members of Congress wont even discuss it. They're not that stupid.

Possible? No; and that's for the reason that unless the Left can actually prove a High Crime occurred then even the attempt to bring down Trump through impeachment would politically rebound with fatal consequences against the Dem Party's leadership itself. No misdemeanor B.S. would win the Dem Party anything but condemnation for playing politics at the expense of this nation.

All that said, however; I fully expect the ever growing lunatic fringe of the Dem Party's leadership to talk up the possibility of impeachment to the very . . . hilt.

Impeachment in the House is a possibility. I don't think removal from office is one. Pelosi doesn't want to do it--it's a losing proposition for her.

I do not want to see impeachment.

I'd love to see Trump gone by a vote of the people in 2020.

He is garbage...an ignorant, narcissistic person with NO CLASS at all.

The best way to be rid of garbage like that...is to throw it out. Which is what I hope the electorate does in 2020.

If they do not...we are stuck with him until 2025.

Since I am gonna be 83 this summer...maybe I don't have to put up with it that long anyway.

It would be ridiculous for The House to impeach without Certain Conviction/Removal in The Senate.

There is ZER0 Chance of Conviction in The GOP-Led Senate.

Thus, Impeachment would be a fool's errand.

Also, as stated many times before, Impeachment could have the unintended consequence of eliciting sympathy for Trump.

The ultimate verdict won't be rendered on Trump until the 2020 Election.

The American Voters will serve as Trump's "Jury".:flagus:

The multiple incident of obstruction make it a possibility. However, it is unlikely. First, it would fail in the partisan Senate and second, Trump has only eighteen months in office so why bother. What will happen is that investigations and hearings will continue and probe deeper into this administration with the result of turning Trump into a lame duck. Basically, Trump's presidency is over.

I would prefer to see the facts laid on the table and let the American people decide in 2020 rather than having two sides with political agendas argue it to no logical end.

I think you're right. Trump is more valuable to the Democrat's 2020 chances as president. He hasn't added to his support from 2016 which was 46% of the total electorate vote. Trump has lost support among independents which went for him in 2016 46-42 with 12% voting third party. Those 12% of independents voting third party voted against both Trump and Clinton. A golden opportunity to pick up most of that 12% with the right candidate for the democrats. 2020 is an election for the Democrats to lose. As long as they don't nominate a candidate as disliked as much by independents as Trump was/is, it's theirs. But so too was 2016, then they nominate a candidate disliked more than Trump in Hillary. They could make that same mistake again.

I do think Pelosi and most experienced Democrats outside the young radicals know how valuable Trump is by letting him be Trump to their 2020 chances. Besides, support for impeachment isn't there among most Americans.

Not from present indications. And it would be better for the country to vote Trump out of office (though I’m not sure Trump FanBoys are going to accept the results).

Of course, according to the Mueller Report, there are 12 Investigations still active, and we don’t know if any involve Trump.

Sure. The house democrats can vote for impeachment any time they want to. Removal from office, of course, is not possible and never was. The impeachment talk is just another way of tormenting Trump. I doubt the house will do it. It would hurt them worse than it would hurt him.

There will be no impeachment unless the American people are for it.

Right now, Russia-Trump is #58 on the people’s list of priorities.

Anything is possible. An undetected space mass might strike the earth in 27 days ending all mammalian life.

Maybe, but I don't hardly think so.

It would be a possibility given the minimum 3 solid cases for obstruction that Mueller chose to leave to Congress due to that silly DOJ memo and his adherence to it, but tribal politics ensure that justice will continue to be subverted by half the country being thoroughly deluded by Trump and his propaganda machine, leading Senate Republicans in particular to be deathly afraid of saying or doing anything that opposes Trump, and House and Senate Democrats fearing they will lose support also with 2020 coming up so soon. It is a sad reality of the human race that ideology often trumps facts, and now, thanks to Trump and the GRU in particular, an ideology has become so powerful that it threatens the rule of law and our entire way of life.

Impeachment is always on the table. As long as Trump's approval numbers remain as high as they are the dems would be stupid to impeach.

So aren't the D's in a box? If they make a hue and cry that does not lead to impeachment proceedings in the House, maybe because Pelosi and other adults will decline to table it, then Trump can say "They couldn't even get the D controlled House top impeach me." If they DO bring it, the failure in the Senate makes Trump a winner that way as well.

And if the D's argue amongst themselves about whether they should, they'll look silly.

As it stands right now people like Klobuchar, Pelosi, and Dingell are finding themselves caught between a rock and a herd place, the crazy left increasingly dominates the dems nomination process, and they will never stop baying for impeachment, most of them can get it through their heads that impeachment without conviction is essentially meaningless and therefore a waste of time.

They have looked silly for two years. I doubt they will bring an impeachment vote. I only said they could.
