    There is increasing concerns WW3 is a given.
    If this does occur what countries will unite against the other?
    Include any countries you think will get involved or mention those that will remain neutral if you please.

    I doubt we humans have fought our last major war.

    As for which countries will fight against which other countries...I doubt that will much matter. There will be a loser...EVERYONE.

    There will not be a winner.

    So..."choosing sides" is a non-starter.

    I am rather hoping it will happen at Armageddon and be between religious nutters rather than countries per se. I further hope it will be televised and as an atheist I am happy to referee from a safe distance. It will be much better if only weapons appropriate to the age of the religions are allowed it will make it a lot more spectacular for the TV viewers. Maybe some gods will turn up and actually do the fighting for themselves for a change.

    Well this President has never promised to be "more flexible" with Putin, so I have no doubt I'd still be on America's side. Then again, this President, like FDR, might be able to get Putin to work with us...instead of working for them...like the "more flexible" President.

    You DO understand that in Non-Trump world, being flexible is a positive character trait...

    I would love to have one of you finally explain SPECIFICALLY what you find wrong with Obama's statement.. You can't and won't, but perhaps somebody will..... someday..

    What is wrong with Obama's statement is that it implies that he is willing to negotiate a deal with Russia that would not be popular with the voters.

    WW3 won't be 2 sets of allies fighting agaisnt one another. It will be a series of wars around the world with countries of blocs of countries fighting for their own goals.

    Russia will eventually move west and it's only getting easier every year for them to do it as western Europe is consistently stripping resources from defense to pay for social programs.

    China will move south and east.

    We will likely see smaller scale wars, mostly civil wars, taking place in south and central America.

    Iran will expand their borders into the rest of the weak gulf states.
