Even before the Trumplification of the GOP, black and brown Republicans, conservatives, libertarians or anyone who does not prescribe to the post-1960s leftwing dogma on race/economics have been branded as a coon, token, Auntie Tomisina, white man's ****, Uncle Tom, sellout, Sambo, bedwench, BlackBecky, sunken place, Django, etc. Now-conservative Candace Owens, who I am not fond of, since she does not know U.S. history, has said that "Black people do not have to be Democrats". The GOP hasn't done any favors, they look like a white country club, and minority Republicans like Mia Love, Tim Scott, Will Hurd, J.C. Watts are called "bedwenches". Do Democrats feel that they "own" black and brown or is it really the GOP's stupidity with overrelying on white voters. I get it, white Americans are a majority of the nation. But shouldn't all parties engage brown voters?
Coon! Black police officers are called coons too. I personally think that it is a plantation thing leftists do, that if you are black or brown and are not leftist or do anything that is "Black" in culture, you are an Uncle Tom. If your hair is not in Black cultural demand, you're a cooness. If you are a law abiding citizen and you have good relations with the police or military, you're a coon. If you marry a "Becky", you are a coon. Yes, Democrats are overly reliant on black voters and minorities. They glorify black leftists. But the GOP has not engaged black voters. They remain stuck in the white suburbs. Protesters can't enter the suburbs protesting. Hence the racial and social Balkanization.
