The recent actions by Denver Police were extremely distasteful and unprofessional.

By locking down the entire school system for 2 days the authorities demonstrated that they are in complete fear of an 18 year old woman with a shotgun. That is a pretty poor image of the police department.

We are to believe that the entire Denver police department could not deal with a 95 pound 18 year old woman. Is that really protecting and serving?

No, it is the practice of terror by the authorities. Absurd.

The Police are going to get bashed by the progressives no matter what they do.

You know, maybe you should give a little more context before you refer to something, and not just assume everyone reading has read the story in the news.

That mistake of yours sort of made this a failed thread.

When something actually happens, you're right.

In this case, had every single teacher in Denver been armed, it would have made no difference at all. This was much ado about nothing. The fear, terror and anxiety WAS generated by this stupid series of lockdowns over a waif.

    Sorry, you're right about that.

It was all over the TV media the day it happened, and I wrongly assumed more folks would have caught it.

The lockdown was absurd. A few armed teachers or volunteers would deter almost all school shooters.

Gun Free Zones = Killing Zones.

Yes, but only after they pass extensively-invasive, psychological evaluations.

You're talking about giving them the authority to shoot people, as it was not any part of their college's requisites to fulfil their degree requirements.

Moreover, as we clearly see today within every episode of a horny old teacher having sex with some teenage student; Teachers, are not perfect. Therefore how many students will die needlessly before society realizes this was a suicidal idea?

A criminal background check should be enough. There should be several armed volunteers in schools to deal with an attack from any source.

This has nothing to do with giving someone a, firearm, then asking them to watch over humans for 50hrs per week who they are trying to teach school lessons to. This is about protecting the students from, armed teachers, who are prone to lose self-control. Like I said earlier, that you disregarded, the fact that teachers are caught having sex with students is proof that some teachers are mentally unstable.

At no time, has any USA teacher been in a school environment, where possessing a firearm is part of faculty duties. We do not know a thing about their mental/emotional intelligence.

And it is not based in, logic, to bypass a psychological/emotional intelligence test.

When potential school shooters know they will be shot as soon as they start shooting, school shootings will become a very rare minor concern,

How many teacher school shooters have there been?

Whenever there are many armed volunteers in schools school shootings will no longer be a serious concern.
We obviously have a lot of loony teachers, but very few of our loons are up for a gun fight.

    Do you not realize, before that gunfight can ever to breakout;

some innocent harmless student is first going to have to get shot by some trusted, loony teacher? who we didn't see signs that were mentally unstable?

LOL! Well, I do agree with you that the public schools are an obsolete waste of money, but several armed volunteers in schools would virtually eliminate school shootings as a serious concern.

Very few loons would have to be shot down before the rest of the loons learned not to draw a gun.

What concerns me is that so many of these recent "mass shooting", schools and other places, have the distinct quality of having been staged events.

The shooters attack targets where they can carry out an attack without any effective interference.

Many facts that contradict the official narratives, facts never discussed by the mainstream media.

The idiot Scott Pelley interviewed a lady present at San Bernardino who watched it happen and gave testimony that massively contradicted the official story, and he just swept her testimony under the rug.

Many facts suggest Sandy Hook school had not been in service for long months or years, yet nobody talks about it in the media, and then when the building was demolished, the company and workers who did the demolition were made to sign nondisclosure agreements. What is there to hide?

LEts imagine this scenario. Guy with assault rifle goes into school, and there are teachers with pistols. Guy mows down children and teachers. How do you think the families of those children and teachers will feel? They will sue the school, and anyone that had that idea, into the dirt.

OR, in the fog of battle, the teacher kills a few kids. The parents of those children do what?

OR, one of the better marksmen among the teachers gets a kill shot quickly and the bad guy is taken out.

Return fire is opbviously the best way to deal with anyone who starts shooting children at a school.
