We were actually on good terms with Russia post-Cold War until Clinton entered the Bosnian conflict.

 

Not saying Hillary is the ideal choice or not (certainly not my first choice), but it's surprising over the last 100 years that the USA hasn't elected their first woman POTUS.

That said, Obama is fortunate he didn't have to compete with Trump as oppose to going head to head with the late John McCain (RIP). Both McCain and Mitt Romney were just what Obama needed to make his historical run. Unfortunately, amid their classy, calm & quiet demeanors, there was an unseen and yet unheard demographic waiting for someone like Trump to come along and boot all things Obama in their small minds all the way back to the projects.

Not making excuses for Hillary, but she found herself at times adrift in the perfect storm railing against all things Obama. Hopefully, Joe Biden can find a way to shed any semblance of being nothing more than an old Obama retread. The 2020 Democrats will all be sharing that stingy feeling if they don't get their act together real soon.

I wonder how many fewer primary votes Hillary would have gotten - and how many more would have went to Bernie - had the Democrat rank and file know about the collusion between the DNC and HRC campaign.

That was the deal that Obama had to cut so that Bill -- the Dem Party's only real Great Communicator would hit the campaign trail hard for Barack; since Barack himself was no longer capable of filling up huge venues with rabidly in lust with him voters. So Bill once again hit the campaign trail for Barack and Obama in turn GAVE the 2016 nomination to Hillary through the corrupt to the core DNC.
