Donald Trump: Spying on My Campaign ‘Bigger than Watergate’

President Donald Trump praised a New York Times article on Friday that detailed the FBI’s spying on his 2016 campaign.

“That’s a big story. That’s a story that’s bigger than Watergate, as far as I’m concerned,” Trump said, speaking to reporters in the Oval Office during a visit with Slovak Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini.

Trump said he was pleased to see the story on the front page of the Times.

The Obama administration spied on an opposition candidate, and later POTUS.

I was not around at the time of Watergate, but know it was very impactful at the time.

After this is further investigated, it may well be the Watergate of the 21st century-brought to us by Obama.

The NY Times said Trump was spied on. When the Times of all people says something like that then whoooooaaaaaaaa.

 

We are left with a simple fact – an administration used government intelligence agencies to spy on the political campaign of the opposition party. How the Left doesn't see it this way is mind boggling. If the situation was reversed the howls would be deafening.

As the scope of Obama's spying becomes more clear, I believe that Trump will be found to be right yet again.

Did not just about everybody in Trump's orbit have multiple contacts with Russians, and then lie about it?

I must ask you though, a few years ago conservatives were always bashing Russians. They were the go to bad guy. Half of the ignorant insults that conservatives made of liberals was that somehow liberals were the same as Russians.

But now we never hear conservatives bashing Russians. Quite the opposite. Many conservatives seem to be quite friendly, even going so far as to say, "so what" with Trump and company being so Russian friendly. Even the NRA has been infiltrated, and funded by Russian operatives.

Was there no collusion? What ever happened to better dead than red? Do you not see how conservatives have been being manipulated? Why are you not mad?

Papadapolous told a diplomat that Russia had the DNC emails 2 months before the WikiLeaks release. When that diplomat contacted the Feds after the emails were released, the investigation began. He had knowledge that a foreign adversary had hacked our infrastructure with intent to damage our elections and instead of doing the right thing and alerting FBI like the diplomat did, he sought to get further help like other Trump campaign members.

The counterpoint from the Trump supporters is usually the Steele Dosier, i.e a 'fake' document paid for by Shillary as the whole reason for the investigation but that's just false. While it was a piece in the puzzle in securing a FISA warrant for Page (keyword: a piece) the spark that started the "witch hunt" was the aforementioned in the above paragraphs.
