Socialism spends the money produced by capitalism.

    Socialism by itself creates nothing.

Are you still getting your information from the same people that told you that you have a right to unemployment insurance because you have decided not to work?

Equal protection under the law? I’m all for it.

Equal opportunity? I’m all for it.

Equal results where massive income redistribution results in everyone receiving the same compensation? I’m not for that.

Well .. you can tell a Leftist wrote this, by the questions posed.. based on false premises. I am well into the bottom 10% of earners in the country, the USA, and live extremely well... we prepare all our food, eat out less than once a month, activities are centered around the maintenance of our property, drive vehicles that are paid for until the wheels fall off of them then buy good used vehicles (our "new" vehicle is 2008 Chev PU) and we still drive a 600 miles round trip once a month to two months to get the good deal on bulk bought supplies (and visit family).. oh .. yeah.. all travel involves visiting family, never take a 'vacation" unless we do that, fortunately, like most US families, ours are so spread out that we can see most of the USA and Mexico that way. I own a Harley, it's old but will never be "out of style" and parts will be available for it as long as there is civilization, I own real estate too, my house sits on a 4.67 acre estate, in town.
So income equity can take a hike, idjits will always be poor or spending on "keeping up with the Joneses" until they are out of money. I enjoy freedoms that Gates, Bezos, etc.. can only dream about, I wouldn't trade lives with them for twice the money.

But we do not necessarily fund government with our income, so it can fund ourselves.

We do see a need for taxpayer funded social welfare to help those fellow Americans who are down on their luck and need our help. But the leftists have taken this to a whole new level, and think government is supposed to steal money from one hard working, healthy American, and simply give it to another hard working, healthy American.

Government creates nothing. It lives off of capitalism.

The shame in equality falls on those who want to win the race- but don't want to run. Bring the finish line to them.... then, we will all be "equal"

You make yourself what you are; the system does not assign you to a destiny..... but if you do not get your sorry ass off the couch and get in the drivers seat, you have no right to complain when your journey winds up going off the road. Whining about injustice all the way- but never accepting responsibility for their own future, except to steal what others have earned. No matter how much society cuts such people breaks and advantages, the wining continues and the expectations increase.
That is the essence of shame.

This is the typical far right mindset...

If you poor, it's because you are too stupid and lazy to be rich......If you are rich, it's because you worked hard and earned it....

Here's the issue......Most billionaires, created and built NOTHING. They got rich by manipulating finances. and a good number of them, such as the Walton family, inherited their money, and have never worked a single day in their lives.

    Not all of them.

Sometimes it takes a rich person putting their money on the line to get things done.

Sometimes when they're 10 times richer they can do the same thing they did before, providing a benefit again.

You paint billionaires with too wide a brush.
Not all of them are in the finance industry.

If you don't like businesses like Walmart, don't shop there.

This may surprise you but I agree with you about this in some instances.

I don't think any Conservative would tell you they are in favor of taxpayer money subsidizing the rich.

How the heck do you get rich off a poor person? Do tell. I bet you don't know but you like to spout the progressive/liberal line.

First, we're not violent. Second, we want everyone to progress beyond minimum wage work, but we want that minimum wage set at a point that enables anyone willing to work, be paid enough for their labor to cover basic needs for their own survival.

Simple answer, YES. It’s telling you there is rot to address in the system.
