A Memeory From The Past And Why Training Children Will Reduce Gun Accidents

The rest of the so-called "western world" where the private citizens have less rights and legal protections than criminals, and who cannot defend themselves with force against a criminal assault?

What is simply not understood on the part of yourself, is the basic fact that human beings, as a species, simply do not wish to be united. Humans wish to be divided into their own individual and unique groups, that can be differentiated from one another by comparisons. The species is not designed to cooperate and coexist in a peaceful nature. Derision, division, and differences are all fundamental, inescapable aspects of humanity that cannot be avoided or done away with.

 

Wrong. Your attitude is part of the problem creating the tragedies.

My grandfather started "gunproofing" me from the time I was four years old; when any child's mind is most primed for learning and absorbing information. He taught me safety and proper handling and demystified guns so that I would respect them and always handle them safely. EVERY SINGLE PERSON I've ever met with a similar background never had the issues with guns we have as a society today; issues created by the idiotic assertion that "children should not be allowed anywhere near a firearm".

Your true agenda is revealed by your desire to keep children from learning about guns and their merits and instead create future generations of easily dominated sheep.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

 

So you didn't understand a thing I said. We do teach our children how to stay safe. That is what I am trying to tell you. We teach our children to respect someone else's opinion, not to take disagreements personally. We educate our children so they don't go through in a fog of bewilderment and frustration. You think we should teach our children how to shoot people? Why? We don't use guns. We don't need guns. Just read my words again and let them sink in.

 

Then they come back after the turn 30 and tell you all the things they did you didn’t want to hear, or worse, end up dead because their parents did not teach them gun safety.

 

No we don't, for if we did children would not be having accidents with firearms.

Who's advocating for that or are just pulling ideas out of you butt?

 

Then explain why so many facilities of learning in the united states are implementing so-called "safe spaces" for students who do not wish to be confronted by differing ideas.

Explain how firearms safety amounts to shooting others. Demonstrate such.

 

This is turning into a circus. Why would our children "end up dead" just because we don't teach them how to handle guns shoot people? If Americans are not allowed to carry guns with them when they come here as tourists we will continue to have no one to shoot anyway. So who do you think we should shoot and kill? We are level-headed people. We don't even need fist fights. I see that it bothers you but I don't think I understand why.

Try this:
It upsets you that we don't use guns. Now just ask yourself what you imagine we think about when we see your many shoot-outs, school shootings, post office shootings, drive-by shootings church shootings, mass murderers, road-rage shootings, mass rapists, etc. etc. etc. And you think we should be just like you.

 

Are you suggesting we turn this country into a little country that is majority white? That would solve most of our gun crime.

 

It looks to me that you don't need any "accidents". Americans are shooting each other up at the highest rate in the world ..... "on purpose". Here's a heavy theory - How many of the daily American shooters were children before they became adults? Just a rough percentage guess will be sufficient. Hmmmm? Take your time.

 

What is the correlation between colour and gun crime? Are you handing out guns to only one race? If so, which race is it?

 

Maybe your rape rate wouldn’t be twice ours if your women could defend themselves.

 

First of all, can you back that figure up with something more substantial and secondly, rape is not a capital offense. Thirdly, whatever number of rape we have it's not because of lack of guns. It's because of the lack of balls in our present government. Now I realize that your theory is based upon the gun equaling the libido but we suffer from incompetent politicians, not in a national inferiority complex.

 

You seem to have a serious problem with comprehension, I never said anything about your children nor is this thread about children outside of the U.S.

None the less you seen to think leaving children ignorant about guns makes them safer which is totally ludicrous.

 

The only thing my dad ever threatened to beat me for was touching his guns without permission. I always asked permission, and he never said no.

 

That's not even close to being truthful and is really pushing anti-gun propaganda which is off topic.

 

Actually a gun is a force equalizer. Helps a 110 lb woman against a 200 lb man.

 

That's the way it was in my parents home where I was taught how to handle and shoot guns safely by my mom and that was the way I taught my children as well.

And guess what, we had zero gun incidents or accidents and if more parents would do the responsible thing and teach their children how to be gun safe I truly believe we would see a lowering of non-criminal shootings by children.

 

Or the war vet sitting in a wheel chair.

Guns have many positive uses but it all hinges on training and education to keep everyone safe and secure

 

Ludicrous? Guns don't go off by themselves. If you don't have one it can't go off. Do you teach your children how to defend themselves against lions?

 

Are you that unaware of reality?

Children come across guns outside of the home way too many times every year and if they don't know what to do many times something tragic will happen, that is why it is necessary to teach as many of them as possible, don't touch, keep your friends away and tell an adult or LEO what you have found.

 

And why would a 110 lb woman need to go against a 200 lb man and wouldn't a gun in the hand of a 200 lb man help against 110 lb woman? And why are you so fixated with one person going against another person in the first place? Where is all of this deadly confrontation you see? Do you have bad dreams?

 

I haven't seen any. And if you see so many why do you think that is?

 

Just follow the news, it's real simple, you should be able to do that.
