Would you think twice if Pence flew his son to China, on Air Force Two, who then returned with a $1.4billion contract with the Chinese government?

What if Pence's son was a director of a company that was under investigation by the government of Ukraine? What if Pence picked up the phone and blackmailed that government into firing the investigator?

    Would you care?

Really? Who the Flock cares about an affair that may or may not have happened 12 freaking years ago? HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH TODAY, NOTHING TO DO WITH PRESIDENT TRUMP!

    President Trump doesn't drink.

Pelosi doesn't stop drinking. Her mind is gone. She's got early onset of alchohol related dementia.

    No.

On the Mueller report, read all of volume 2... skip the legalese, cause it's hard to follow... Read Sections A-K

Put on some tea or grab a brew (your choice)... it's worth your time...

12 years ago? I don't think so. The coverup story blew up in 2016 and continued well into the Trump presidency. I could have sworn I saw it, even on FOX.

Nobody cares about the affairs themselves, except that Trump continues to deny they happened, which I find hilarious with all we know about the payments...

Karen McDougal was smokin' hot and Melania was probably carrying some extra baby weight... Let he who is without a Playboy Centerfold cast the first stone..

Ah that's what I thought, since McGahn isn't referenced in the actual investigation report.

So Trump is alleged to have asked McGahn to fire Mueller.

Please explain how McGahn could fire Mueller, and why Trump didn't ask anyone else to fire Mueller, and why Trump didn't actually fire Mueller.

It's a private sexual affair. Bill Clinton got away with it while in office. Trump was a private citizen. Therefore, nobody gives a ****!

    1. McGahn was told to have Rosenstein remove Mueller, as he WAS authorized (only with cause).
    2. Because he thought McGahn was a loyal soldier who would get the job done, and Trump didn't want to contact Rosenstein directly, in an attempt to keep it in the WH.
    3. He endeavored to fire Mueller, which is the definition of OOJ... The fact that it didn't actually happen matters not.. And the probability is that this will be judged politically anyway, and not legally.

Hard to have a discussion about the Mueller report when only one of us has read the Mueller report...

What sexual affair?? Trump denies them both...

And nobody would have cared, if he had paid them off between the years 2006 and 2015 like he should have, and before he became a candidate for president...

    Procrastination rarely pays off...

    1. Oh so in this scenario McGahn was giving orders to Rosenstein.

Is McGahn in charge of Rosenstein? Is that a chain-of-command issue?

    2. So McGahn said he wouldn't direct Rosenstein to have him fired (I mean in spite of the fact that he had no authority to), then Trump didn't tell his AAG to fire Mueller?

    3. How does one endeavor to fire Mueller when he never directed the only person who could fire him, to fire him?

What is Trump's famous line again?

    Oh yeah. You're fired.

You're suggesting that Trump wanted to fire Mueller, but didn't want to, and never did, instruct the AAG to fire him, nor was Mueller ever fired.

    Where is the "obstruction" again?

I suppose we'll have to wait until McGahn is compelled to answer questions.

What would you like to ask the person who couldn't fire Mueller.

You are just being obtuse. If it is big legislation like infrastructure, it needs the support of the House, the Senate and the White House. That needs negotiation between the three of them.

But anyway, the House has been passing legislation. Over 200 bills since January. But for the most part, the Senate won't take them up.

    The intern thing is okay.
But violating campaign finance law to coverup an affair is a felony.

Section 1503 offers broad protection to the “due administration of justice” by stating that a person who “corruptly or by threats of force, or by threatening letter or communication, influences, obstructs, or impedes, or endeavors to influence, obstruct, or impede, the due administration of justice” is guilty of the crime of obstruction of justice.

Telling McGahn to have Rosenstein fire Mueller without cause is endeavoring to obstruct and impede the due administration of justice...

You don't have to believe me... I'm not a lawyer.... How about the (now) 947 former federal prosecutors?? This is the first example in their statement.

    SNIP
Attempts to fire Mueller and then create false evidence

Despite being advised by then-White House Counsel Don McGahn that he could face legal jeopardy for doing so, Trump directed McGahn on multiple occasions to fire Mueller or to gin up false conflicts of interest as a pretext for getting rid of the Special Counsel. When these acts began to come into public view, Trump made “repeated efforts to have McGahn deny the story” — going so far as to tell McGahn to write a letter “for our files” falsely denying that Trump had directed Mueller’s termination.
    ENDSNIP

And again, it not even how this plays legally... it's how it plays to Congress and the public... .. and it doesn't play well...
