This is sooooo funny! Ole Natty reads the fake news and writes an obituary for the NRA based on gossip. If wishfull thinking won't end the NRA, maybe some fake news can get the job done.

Meanwhile, the NY AG is worrying about a revolt from the rest of the state for his dumb-assed antics.

By the way, do you have an update on that lawsuit?

Denial is an option, I suppose.

The NRA is under regulatory scrutiny concerning the group’s non-profit status.

Ackerman McQueen, the longtime PR firm for the NRA is now counter-suing the gun promoters for $100 million. The PR firm’s suit was filed Thursday in Virginia state court, just a day after the NRA sued Ackerman McQueen for $40 million, accusing the firm of “fomenting” an attempted coup and leaking confidential documents.

McQueen had exposed the NRA’s profligate spending, including LaP's spending hundreds of thousands of member dollars on luxury suits and global travel.

Of course, one of the more amusing revelations is LaP's billing the Washington gun lobby that claims to speak for the shooty hoi polloi $275,000 “for purchases at the Zegna luxury men’s wear boutique in Beverly Hills.”

That's not how our Presidential elections are decided.

    Try to keep up.

Because there would never be a Repub president if the American people actually had a say. It's the only way you losers 'win'.

It isn’t surprising to see the gun nuts deny the corruption in the organization that they finance, even though it is rampant and well reported.

After all, they don’t like having to admit that they’ve been played for fools yet again. The NRA raised money off of them by promoting fake ammunition shortages and scare tactics, and spent it on expense accounts and clothes on Rodeo Drive.

This sort of thing is rampant in the conservative swamp.

Sham Hammity and Oliver North ran a scam concert tour allegedly for veterans and pocketed 90% of the money, spending it on executive jets and hotel suites.

Ben Carson’s entire presidential campaign was little more than a direct mail fundraising scam.

Trump ran a fake fundraiser for veterans just before the Iowa caucuses and pocketed the money, until the Washington Post caught him at it.

A couple of right wing grifters raised millions one weekend to help Trump build his wall, and pocketed that money too.

I didn’t have to do any research to list to come up with this either. They are just some of the more obvious ones.

Of course, this sort of scamming is common in televangelist world too.

And it’s really intresting to see how quiet they are about the Russian involvement, which we are going to learn more about as the investigations and the lawsuits move forward.

Nothing has happened so far - this post appears to be based on what you think might happen? What if this is just like the Mueller investigation - all of the salivating as the left wingers wait for the guillotine to fall - and nothing comes of it.

What will you people do when all of your schemes and plans and gloating come to nothing - when Trump wins his second term and the NRA is right there on the podium with him - what will you do then?

    Nixon's second term - SWEEP!
    Reagans second term - SWEEP

All of the trash thrown at Nixon and Reagan by the Dems and the fake news and they both still won their second terms with landslide victories.
All of the trash thrown at Bush Jr and he still easily won his second term.

Only Bush Sr failed at a second term - because his supporters did read his lips and stayed at home.

Nixon and Reagan were a different time. I'd argue the same for Bush the Lesser though I don't see him getting elected if Gore had been given the Presidency. But post 2005 the Republican brand was garbage.

I have no idea what will happen. I'm just amused by what is happening.
Nor do I presume to rely on wishful thinking to speculate on what the consequences of what has been exposed in the Trump Justice Department Special Counsel's report will be. Conservative Republicans like Justin Amash and George Conway may be insisting impeachment is in order, but I still oppose such a precipitous step, however justified.
I am not a spokesperson for your "you people" but would be very disappointed in my fellow Americans if the farce were to be perpetuated. I can only assume that it would make one person very, very happy.

And that's exactly why the founding fathers created the electoral college. Otherwise, California and New York would determine every Presidency.

Sorry, but. Nixon and Reagan had strong poll numbers going into their second election campaigns.

    Trump has never cracked 50%.

    1. That's not true.
    2. If that where EVERYONE LIVES, than no ****.
    3. The Founders were greedy, slaver scum and their words are far from infallible.

    Yes, true.

If you subtract just California's 2016 vote tally and just total the vote tally for the other 49 states, then Trump won the popular vote in 2016. Fact.
Most countries were in the slave business back in 1776. It was the norm at that time.

But the founding fathers created the greatest document ever, the Constitution and the BOR, by allowing the power to go from the people to the government and not from the government to the people.

And if the United States sucks, then move.

And if the United States sucks, then why are so many third world trash traveling thousands of miles to reach this great land of ours?

At the time of the founding of the united states, exactly which countries around the world had already eliminated slavery entirely? Demonstrate such.

The money I donate to the NRA every year gets more bang for the buck from my contributions than I can get in any other way. I feel most comfortable about my annual contributions to the NRA when I hear leftists complain about how much power and influence the NRA has.

I thank God for the NRA.

Only Trump thought it sucks, since he wanted to make America great again. All with your approval.

    No, Obama thought it sucked...

"We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America" --- Barak HUSSEIN Obama, October 30, 2008

Trump is just undoing Obama's fundamental transformation.

    Try to keep up.
