My mother and father had 13 children. We were all born before Roe V. Wade. I can't help but think that, if that had not been the case, I might not had been one of 13 siblings. By the time my mother was 22, she had a 2 year old, a 1 year old and a new born. By the time she was 40 her home was completely over run by teenagers. I left at sixteen.

There is a time to kill, and mothers know best. Keep abortion legal.

If abortion was to become illegal in this country, just think about the 600,000 more babies that would be dumped into the hands of the state. Then multiply that by a factor of 10 over ten years. Your talking a lot of tax payer monies being spent. Where is that money supposed to come from? Increased taxation? Remember, decisions come with consequences.

 

Prisons will have to become more self sufficient. Joe Arpagio can run the Federal and state prison systems.(or someone like him)

I know stupidity has to be a huge factor in this somewhere! I hate to believe it but, it's pretty clear prevention isn't working as expected. Even after billions of funding poured into sex education and prevention we are still funding huge amount of abortion! So stupidity by all logic must be the overall contributor!

Well those Friday night memorials they throw on the right sure look like lots of fun. But then they come here and post the wildest nonsense about abortions they can fantasize.

 

Nonsense. Prisoners can grow their own food, raise livestock, make furniture for government buildings, assemble solar panels for government facilities, wash their clothes. Educated prisoners can teach GED classes to prisoners who want them. Work is 6 days/week and only days worked count toward your sentence. They learn work skills and don't have as much time for the stupid stuff in prison. They don't need cable TV, internet access, and weight rooms. The warden and prison staff can select the music on the speaker system. They can read, have church services, and learn musical instruments on their off days. Sound reasonable?

Up to a point. if someone becomes ill and cannot work long term then they are looking at life in prison if the illness lasts for an indefinite period of time. Prisoners in maximum security prisons cannot be let outside the walls to grow food, raise livestock since there is the risk of flight. Prisoners already make furniture, assemble solar panels, wash their own clothes and cook their own food.
Eliminate the weight rooms? It's one way they can stay in shape and thus reduce medical bills especially if they are there long-term. Remember, medical care means bills that must be paid for by the state.

What about those prisoners who are of the Jewish, Scientologist, Muslim, Hindu and other faiths who are incarcerated? Are you going to provide services that meet their religious needs as well?

Bottom line is all of this costs the taxpayer money
