    The Republicans don't support this raise. Quit fooling yourself that she's doing this "for congress" or "for Republicans", when she's blatantly interested only in a raise for herself, and the Republicans don't even support it.

    Biden is still the likely nominee and the Dem Progressives will have no choice but to fall in line.

    Unless they want to facilitate 4 more years of Trump.

    The sort of "Progressive Takeover" (that you are constantly referencing) is (at least) 8 years away.

    You realize she can't ask for a raise just for herself? She has to say "for Congress" because that's the only way she will get a raise. There is no deflection, just reality and facts.

    "Congress" doesn't want a raise, AOC wants a raise.

    The republicans killed the cost of living pay increases several years ago and it's probably time the get one. Now a freshman congressman shouldn't be asking nor pushing this for all the OBVIOUS REASONS. Kind of odd hearing a dem pushing this while talking about the oppressed all the time but hey it's politics and she's got to pay for those campaign finance violations somehow I guess.

    Are they falling in line behind Pelosi regarding the impeachment of Trump? No. Look and see what congressional democrats are ignoring her on pushing forward with Trump's impeachment. The only Democrats who are getting in line are the Democratic establishment.

    Just think if Washington DC was located in the totalitarian state of the hermit kingdom of California where AOC wouldn't be able to find affordable housing.
