There would also be smaller classroom sizes, less strain on the medical system, and less strain on law enforcement.

You said Americans are suffering because of Trump but provided no examples. Hurt fee-fees is not suffering.

If every day was a no immigrant day, liberal elitist on L.A. Westside would no longer have to send their children to private schools.

Those Americans of the middle and upper middle class who are unfortunate to live in L.A. would no longer have to send their children to charter schools because the LAUSD wouldn't be one of the worse school systems in the country.

They are pretenders during election time. It’s what Trump does when his polls are down.

Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better. It is 100% wrong and is the reason why American workers are out produced by foreign workers. Try working eight hours a day in construction and tell me how that works out for you. Go buy a ticket for reality and then come back.

No, I'm not wrong, the availability of cheap labor drives wages down. If you are big into construction you already know that.

You're saying that Obamacare is no longer in effect? Trump must have disbanded OSHA too if the workplace has become so hazardous.

Have you seen the exchange rates? Illegal aliens work here for less than Americans can because the money they send home can support their families. Americans on the other hand have trouble supporting a family on the same amount of money. One of the other problems with illegal aliens, is that the money they make in America, doesn't stay in America, much of it leaves. Think on how our neighborhoods could look with all those billions actually being spent locally...

If you don't know that stealing IP is against the law or that China already imposes tariffs on all our goods, before Trump ever thought about running for president, I don't see what the point of you posting is. And sorry, Trump isn't starving anyone by removing Michelles HORRIBLE school lunch program modification. You're drinking kool aid of the nutty kind. have a nice day.

Where is this, how do you advertise and how many hours are people expected to work? Required experience/ education? Is this work seasonal? Do you provide tools or is that brought in. Are they indipendent contractors or regular employees?

I'm honestly curious, had no idea entry level construction could be so lucrative, might be time for a job change!

I no longer do it — it’s extremely hard work and you are never home — I started as a green electrical helper and eventually made it up to project foreman. Hours vary by the job type (shutdown vs new construction) and could be anywhere from part time with weekends off to 84 hours per week no weekends. The jobs move upon completion and speciality: 3 months in California, 7 in Texas, 5 in NC and so on. Most people take breaks between jobs for a few weeks to a few months. No education was required in my field although an engineering degree was required for some of the higher level stuff ($250k+ a year). You bring minor tools — company provides power tools. Work isn’t seasonal but sometimes jobs run thin so it’s best to jump between industrial construction company. Regular employee although they do sub occasionally.

No, but they have crippled it so badly that millions have lost insurance. OSHA is still there but he has repealed a rule that had required companies to inspect mines for safety hazards (such as loose pieces of rock that might crumble and fall as they work) before workers begin their shifts, Proposed allowing hog-processing plants to run their lines at a speed greater than “1,100 hogs per hour,” a move that is all but certain to increase worker injuries, Proposed a rule that would allow restaurant owners to steal their workers’ tips, and hid a study that showed this would cost waiters and waitresses billions of dollars.
The information is there, not hard to find if you want to, but what do you care.

Fresh out of high school that would have been good for me, but yeah that sounds rough as hell.
The feast and famine nature of the job, combined with the travel, that'd probably a bigger hurdle for me to jump then the work itself. You'd know more about why most people turn it down then me though. Thanks for sharing.

Let’s just say working on top of an active glass furnace in Texas (where it was regularly 100 degrees plus at night) did me in. I do miss the money and a few coworkers but everything else, no thanks. I did have my house, camper and two cars paid off at 30 though so that’s nice.

I have been unable to find anything that quantifies how many people have lost their insurance due to Trump changes. Well, except you that is. Other than that you have listed some possible harmful changes but nothing to say it has actually taken place. The harshest thing I see is the loss of subsidies for some and the repeal of the mandated penalty that never should have been allowed in the first place because it was illegal.
Now I did do some googling but all I turned up was a few predictions of horrific consequences, much like you have listed.
