And if they were on their side of the border, they could do as they pleased

They could have taken their kids and gone back.
The parents separated themselves from the children

Here's a clue, that wasn't the kid's parents we took them from, they were illegals.

I'll remember you and your words when Trump gets yanked out of the White House in handcuffs.

Who provides workers, cots, blankets, soap, water, health care professionals, and food?

    Congress.

    Why isn't Congress funding it?

why don't you ask Mitch McConnell? Perhaps a nice little note would help.

Did the Senate receive a Bill to vote on from the House?

I read about conditions at the border and I don’t have the urge to call the lawmakers. I do have the urge to bitch-slap every parent that takes their kids on such a journey.

Like every Trumper, you give more of a **** about an unborn fetus than you do for a 2 year old child sleeping on a cold concrete floor. AND, just because you're an ignorant about this whole situation, these are children that have parents or family in the USA already, They are in a facility operated by the ORR - Office of Refugee Resettlement, under the direction of HHS and they are paid $750 a day for each one of these children, that's enough to put each of them up in the Ritz Carlton.

If you were genuinely worried about those kids you would advocate for these separations to never happen by completely eliminating illegal crossings.
    Simple like that.

    Think about it.
What would make you desperate enough to do the same thing?

If YOU had a president that really wanted to stem the tide of immigration which is up dramatically since he started to rant about his wall, he would do something through diplomatic channels. "What Dat?" you wonder? Well that means to first, get a grip on these facilities that are sub-contracted to private companies to house these kids in deplorable conditions even though they're receiving $750 per child, per day to care for. Then, get a consortium together, representatives from Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and US representatives. Get a PLAN to establish some safety, financial security and protection for their own people in their own countries. Offer them money to get that done and have sanctions put on them if they fail to make necessary changes.

THAT would be a start, THAT would be a beginning to the end of massive amounts of people fleeing unbearable conditions. THAT is where the solutions lie, not a wall, not massive amounts of children being incarcerated, abused, neglected and subjected to rape and molestation in addition to ungodly human conditions.

But that wouldn't get trump any love from his base.
Maybe when we get a real President again we can work on immigration reform now that Jon Boner is out of the picture.

Why should I offer anyone money if I can build the way? An easier solution would be to kick them out immediately - no need to detail to listen to them, just kick them out and direct them to legal port of entry to cross the border legally.
It’s a travesty what happens to these kids, but you can’t pin this on Trump - these things were happening since Obama’s times and Pelosi refused funding because the wall bothers her too much. Why didn’t Obama and Pelosi think about poor abused kids? Why are you so suddenly concerned about them? What changed in 2 short years?
Do you realize that letting people in just because they have kids with them would lead to child kidnappings on massive scale along with abuse? If foreigners find out that if you show up at the border with a kid then we just let them through you will see more kids being subjected to difficult crossing through deadly terrain.

Less then 10 years ago dems controlled all branches of the government and nobody did jack. Now you remember because it’s politically convenient to you.

    Oh, you mean "but Obama."
Back when the numbers were going down?
Even then they did try to move a major bill, but the Boner killed it.

They managed to get healthcare bill through. I bet they could move immigration bill if they really wanted to.

Very. But the Benedict Donald has the ball now, not Obama. You can try to dodge that all you want, but it just makes you - and those that parrot that line - look like an utter fool. The buck stops on Cantaloupe Caligula's desk. He wanted the authority, he gets the responsibility for the results. Suck it up and smell what you're shoveling, and don't think we're ever going to let Cult45ers forget that they own that chit - lock, stock and barrel.

Pelosi didn’t send toothbrush money because she worries the wall is inhuman. Congress with Pelosi control the funds, not POTUS.

What do you think the purpose of the Marshall Plan was in 1948? The US paid $15 billion dollars to rebuild Europe. One reason of course, was to stem the tide of immigrants fleeing after the devastation to their cities from the war. The same circumstances exist in Central America and if nothing else works, money always does. When countries have stable economies and stable governments, people stay, they don't flee.

Brokeahontas has billions in a slush fund that isn't building a wall at the moment. He has no excuse, and neither do you.
